From what you can see I like it.....

I would suggest a device to lay an oil slick, but I think the British have a patent on that.
I think the new Escape has that already.....
-
I'm sick of the MK this or that. get some Good names/numbers and use them
-
Performance package will usually appeal to a younger person. If the younger person wasn't around to remember the name SCAT, then it's a worthless name. By using a name only an older generation knows, they're already limiting their market.
Yeah Like Boos 302 (1969 ) Cobra Jet (1968) Mach One ,Track Pak etc. Yup Ford never uses those "old " names
-
You guys must be too young to remember the Scat Pak cars in the late 60's early 70's. I think it's agreat idea. And the new " Shaker " edition as well. I saw a new Orange Challenger with the Shaker and black stripes. It looked awesome. Far better then the Camaro

I know the feeling. I have a 65 Fairlane Man. brakes and steering with a sbf and a 4 speed. A far cry from my daily driver, but every time i get in and hear the rumble and take off you forgwet the old technology for sure. It takes awhile for the grin to go away.....

OK I will CK ...Thanks

Check for signs of a leak around the oil filter and drain plug - it could be dripping and burning off. Which oil have you been using and who changes it?
Not sure. Done at local servive station/
-
My daughter has a 08 4 cyl escape. 38,000 miles. It seems to me using a quart of oil every 1500 miles or so . No visable leaks, no smoke . Someone suggested the drain plug could be the culprit. I will double ck. Any ideas ?

I like the look of the full width rear light. The MKZ is stunning. The Dart/Charger also look good IMHO
Your bad eyesight just saved you over $20,000, congratulations! The only thing the 2 rears have in common is that they both have full-width tail lamps. BTW, I saw an MKZ tonight with the lights on from the rear and it looked like nothing else on the road--SIMPLY STUNNING and those LED head lights are REALLY bright!!! -
Why does the Mustang only have 3 legs................lol
-
Sure you can! Just look at all the recent success stories:
Caddy XLR
Pontiac G8
Pontiac Solstice/Saturn Sky
Pontiac GTO
Oh wait.....
I have to say I drove a G8...That was a nice car and should have succeded

The original T-Types, GNX and Grand National really didn't do much for Buick's image. No one thought of Buick as a performance car back then, regardless of how quick the Grand National was.
Just as the SC/Rambler, AMX and Rebel Machine of the late 1960s and early 1970s didn't erase AMC's image as a purveyor of cars for tightwads and your Aunt Edna.
Once again, a GM division is trying to be all things to all people...another indication that the recent bankruptcy didn't cure GM of all its old bad habits.
AMC was not trying to change everything about themselves but wanted in on the " youth " movement. Hence the SC/rambler AMX etc. I can remember my buddy in a 67 GTO getting beat by the S/C . Everyone started noticing the AMC cars. They still did not sell like the big 3 ( many reasons why ), but they were noticed. As for the Buick's...Wow did they get noticed. It was not long before almost all you saw at the track ( late 80's )were 5.0's and Gn's. They were all the rage. I'm not sure how well the new Buick's will do, but I would guess you will see a 2dr GNX....

Anytime you "tie" with Chrysler in a vehicle quality study, . . . . that's bad.
I would have agreed with you until the other day. A woman in my office boughty a new Chrysler 200. I'm laughing under my breath. At lunch I took a look.... Damn Fit and finish was... well very good. Overall the car was put together very well. I still don't believe I saw what I saw...

Big Fan of Matt. I e mailed his site and told them many will follow him anymore if he is in A Yoda

Where was it written that NASCAR was restricted to American automobiles? And the Camry has as much right to be there as all the other non production based spec vehicle.
The first word in NASCAR is NATIONAL. Look up the definition

Nevermind Naysayers, Lincoln is Worth Saving
in Ford Motor Company Discussion Forum

Yes Lincoln is worth saving. They have an identity crisis of sorts. I quizzed a few car guys about Lincoln. Now they are not the type to look at every new car, option etc but they know cars. The biggest complaint is the name game MK this MK that. Nobody is sure which car they are talking about. Change the names
