  1. install went great I did not put the 2 bolts in. I've installed numerous things on my cars in the past with just the 3m tape stuff holds like glue. I did buy the thicker tape as you suggested it was a lot thicker and I was more comfortable with that. really happy with the spoiler look so factory you can hardly tell that it's added on.

  2. Yes, but were you in "D", drive?? Mine is only rough when I am stopped and in drive. If I put it in N or P it gets much smoother. My Honda is smooth no matter what the transmission is in. Second, when I shift from drive to reverse to vice versa it seems to take too long to engage. Third, at highway speeds, when I go to pass someone or floor it there is a disconcerting pause before it kicks in. Doesn't seem to be any TSB that really addresses these issues. I would like to just get a re-flash of the PCM, just to see if that makes a difference. But I haven't asked my dealer if they would do it. I doubt it.

have you looked at tsb 13-7-5?

  3. My last mustang had a cabin air filter and I never changed it. I sold it with over 80,000 miles and if it was clogged I never could tell a difference. I think some people are getting overly excited about changing it. Just my opinion.

  4. I have an iPhone so the Bluetooth device wouldn't work for me either. Question, when you're using your phone to scan, does it disable your ability to make and receive calls? I'm not saying one is better than the other and frankly, the Ultra-Gauge has more features than I'll ever use, but not being able to use the phone would make it a no sale for me.

nope phone works just fine while using obd2. There are others on the market that work with iPhone.

  5. The Escape has a little door hiding the OBD port. When you plug that in, can you put the door back on, or does it interfere?

If you get the wireless one I got you can unclip the female end in dash and push the whole unit back into the dash and close the door. Works great.
