  1. General, thanx for the info on the buyout folks as I did not know they got the 20 already ! I can't seem to get any information from local 600 or HR on the other ?"s

    A) when do takers on these jobs have to leave?

    B) when do we get the 30k for transfering ?

    C) = = = = = 20k owed this jan ?

    D) is anyone in labor to answer any questions when we sign up ?

    E) where the fuck is our union representation ?

If anyone can answer at least one of these questions I sure would appreciate it.

The answer to C is you will not receive your money because you are not there on your anniversary date. Remeber you are voluntering to leave.

  2. Close.

You are incorrect regarding the opening size. A 109 and a 209 are both full pallet openings, just the 109 is in bin and the 209 is in bulk.

To kill a location without parts in it you cut a move and pick zero. That kills the location.

Yes, I am a former suprervisor, I now am working for a different company. But I take offense to the word stupidvisors, as when I worked as a supervisor, my primary fuction was to fix the mistakes made by hourlies.

I know some supervisors do not know what they are doing, but, most do. Just like hourlies.

If you work for a different company then maybe you should stay on thier forum and stay off of ours. PLEASE.

  3. Cow:

Since you call supervisors, stupidvisors you must know more about the business then them. Therefore, I have a couple of techinical questions for you, to prove you know more than they do.

How do you kill a location that does not have any parts remaining in it?

What is the difference between a 109 and a 209 opening?

If you are doing a replenishment, and you go to the reserve and the reserve is empty what do you do? What is the replenishment function on your RFT? What exception codes do you use?

These are just some basic questions. Please do not ask Paul D for the answers, I know he knows them. These questions should be answered by you to back up your stupidvisor statement.

The questions will get much harder as we go along.

Sounds to me that you took offense to Cowtown's remarks. Why is that are you one of them?

    chairman's office--gaston lucido

great guy and he can and will help you. i think they are coming in at noon or 2 pm. not positive about those start times though. around 20 to 22 people are on the floor. hope this helps.

I agree with cowtown00 couldn't ask for a better person than Gaston. Great Chair also.

  5. Anyone know why Ford is offering HOURLY buyouts again but only to the HVC plants? Speculation: maybe they are combining HVC plants?? Hmmm...

Does anyone else have any info?

Ask your Chairperson what was said Friday in Detroit. That should end all of your speculation for awhile.

  6. FOR SOME REASON....>EVERY< LOCATION WE TRY TO GET INFO FROM ON DATES DOESN'T HAVE ONE OR CLAIMS TO NOT HAVE A DATE(S) YET EXCEPT BUFFALO. BELIEVE IT WAS @ MID APRIL...16th I THINK!

All I can tell you is what I hear. Call the Chairman. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

  7. Could you please tell us what dates you did see on the list.??

Was the list you looked at everyone headed to Evansville or just flowback or Geners??

Thanks in advance for your info.

    :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

6 flowbacks one 77 all others 88. 6 Gen starting 91 going down to 02.

  8. ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE SHIFTS ARE AT "EVANSVILLE" HVC AND THE SENIORITY THAT'S COMING IN FROM THE "GEN" AND OR "FLOWBACK" AND WHAT KIND OF SENIORITY IS THERE NOW? WE'VE HEARD IT'S A GOOD PLACE TO WORK AND GOOD PEOPLE TO WORK WITH!

As with most HVC's they will being going to a one shift operation soon. Don't know the exact times yet. What is your seniority and all positions have been filled. !2 new people coming in starting in Apr. and Mar. As far as good people and a nice place to work it is like all others you make it what you want. Yes there are good people here and it is a good place to work.

  9. Memphis and Evansville put out there request for people today.

I was told it took 1988 or more to get into Evansville and they were needing 5 people, and 1 person from our plant made it, I don't know about Memphis.

For some reason I didn't get to read the list of who did make it to either place.

It's funny, but they never did post a list for Evansville at our plant???

Did anyone see a list for Evansville at your plant??

Did anyone else hear about this today??

This whole flowback thing is all screwed up, you have no idea where the hell you will end up.

    :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

12 people total going to Evansville. 6 from Gen (St. Louis, AAP) 6 from flowbacks. Of the 6 flowbacks one has 1977 and the other 5 all have 1988. One is coming from Wixom, 3 from Sheldon Rd. 1 from Nashville and 1 from Indy. Now you know.

  10. the lpmh has gone through the roof. we used to never hear about it, but now its in every meeting. management is already grumbling about flowback coming in at ft. worth. i hope the flowbacks are ready for the crap management will throw at them. the last flowback we had 7 come here. they have all quit but 1. they couldn't beleive how management operates in the hvc's...........hell we can't either!!!!

    AMEN!!!!!!!!!!

  11. just wondering which depots the ones coming to texas are going to? ft.worth how many and houston how many with what kind of seniority. we have temps. in the building, but hell we are through by 10 or 11 pm. we start at 5 pm. it has been quantity not quality if ya'll know much about parts depots.

This is happening at most HVC's that have temps. The so called LPMH is skyrocketing because of the scare tatics that management uses against these temp. Can't wait for the fun and games to be had when the gen and flowbacks show up. If your in parts you know of which I speak.

  12. I got the Denver job.Haven't got a report date yet. There HR rep hasn't got back to my HR rep yet.Hopefully I will get it by the end of the week. She has told us to ready to report either the 19th or the 26th.

I am ready to go right now.

Good luck to you. You are about to enter a whole different FORD world. Enjoy it.

  13. Hey --- at my HVC plant we are getting 9 people (flowback - I guess) starting Feb.

The plant posted alot of 'back up' bid jobs just recently. I call it "padding the jobs" - its WRONG. That means that the "new" people coming into our plant with high senority won't be able to get any good jos. They told us that all HVC's are doing the same thing...any truth to that?

I thought I read a previous post by you that you took a buy-out and already have your check. Explain please.
