  1. Oh, its white seats all right. Look at the link above and check the picture out. It kind of looks like a chick flic but I still would love it with the Vista Blue exterior...
  2. Someone found a 2007 Mustang Configuration Page... http://www84.forddirect.fordvehicles.com/F...=Ford&sZip=
  3. Get your manual here... https://www.fleet.ford.com/maintenance/owne...als/default.asp
  4. That would be your receipt date. Check the first post on this forum for the FAQ on these things...I found that up until the time that you get sequenced, Thursdays were good days for updates on your status... I would check tomorrow (7/6); I would suspect that you will have a VIN by then...
  5. Its got to be 35% or less I figure because legal max in the state of MD is 35%. When you transfer a vehicle, you have to get it inspected and the inspection will not pass if tinted at all. You have to get the tint inspected by the State Police!
  6. I agree as it pertains to my '97 Mountaineer (148K miles and still runs great, but I think that I need a new rack)..I looked at both and choose the Mountaineer mostly because the trim was upgraded compared to the Explorer and I especially liked that the seats were high back and wide...
  7. Yes, I did and I got updated on the delivery date (see signature). No, I think that the ERL means 7/18. Which is why I am assuming that this is my targeted build date...
  8. And in a struggling company such as Ford, the quality of IT is not a priority because it is an expense and thus directly affects the bottom line.
  9. Don't ask me why, but my prediction is for 7/18. I don't want to make excuses for Ford, but in opinion (since I work in information technology), it seems like it is an "integration" issue between Ford and Mazda. This joint venture between Ford and Mazda is unique and it involves information sharing between the Ford and the AAI and the Mazda domains. Not to mention external interfaces to carriers and carriers giving feedback to Ford/AAI/Mazda. It is kind of like when one cable company buys another one, and because they don't do a good job of transisitioning the computer platforms from one to the other, you get some overlap and you get some downright gaps and you get some silos. I think that when some get the right information, they happened across the right silo. Given that Ford and Mazda has not hired me to integrate their systems so that they can communicate with one consistent voice, my guess is that the whole thing is outsourced to India someplace, and you know what you're going to get there.... My $0.02
  10. Has this issue been resolved yet? Horse? Marc@Kentucky?
  11. News on the flash front as well. I guess my triple whammy wait (GT Manual + 18 polished + GT appearance) is getting closer. ERL says that I am locked in for the week of 7/17 with an ETA to the dealer week of 7/27! :happy feet:
  12. Got to be a :bandance: in there somewhere! Congrats. Could you say where on TMS you posted the pics? Oh, forgot to mention that I saw my first GT/CS (white w/o the hood scoop but with the rolled exhaust tips) on a dealer lot yesterday. I thought that it was nice, but I kept thinking about how awesome it would be in orange... They had a $3K markup labeled 'rare' on it. Geez, these dealers never miss a beat...
  13. Slightly off topic, but worth a read anyway, IMHO. My brother is VP of manufacturing at the new San Antonio Toyota Tundra plant. There is an article posted recently which kind of talks to the processes a bit and it might give us an appreciation of just how tight the "just in time" inventory process works. He's quoted in here a bit and it looks like the amount of inventory that Toyota aims to keep on the shelf in terms of parts from suppliers is a whopping 30 minutes. http://www.mysanantonio.com/business/stori...ta.4f4ea31.html
  14. Yeah, I just saw this thread this AM. I put a question out to Five 0 B to ask him how many of those restrictions actually impact getting scheduled or, once you are scheduled, if they change week to week and you could wind up delaying what you get "blended" AKA "locked in"... I guess the bottom line is that our machines are too dolled up for their own good. GT Conv Premium (Grabber Orange), Cloth Top, Polished 18's, Comfort Group, GT Appearance Package, Sirius, IUP (Satin), Active Anti-Theft... I think that the problem with your math is that you assume that they will actually *make* 10% on the GT500s. I think that the actual percentage will be much lower...
  15. Not that I am trying to rain on anyone's parade or anything, I just don't get how you got your machine built in like 5 weeks. You put your order in on 5/11, and it is made 6/22. What in the heck am I doing wrong?
  16. I think that I saw a post which said that you can't get the CS in Grabber Orange? Is this correct to your knowledge?
  17. Depends on what part of the country you live in. If you live in a warm climate, those folks seem to get allocated faster. I would assume late July to late August. If you live in the northeast, expect late August.
  18. Click here for the link to the 2007 Manual.. Or paste in this link... https://web.msslib.dealerconnection.com/Rig...9000c58805673df
  19. Call the 800 Number Listed in the first post of this forum. There no longer is anyone from Ford helping on these (or any other forums). Ford has gotten their panties in a wad about information sharing. There is a number for Customer Relations on this thread and a number for the VOPC in this thread. Here is the 2007 Mustang Manual
  20. Here come the '07's. http://www.stangsunleashed.com/index.php?c...13_sectionid=10 Notice the 6 banger Grabber Orange....not a good move dude...that color demands some black and some muscle...
  21. I was planning on doing some math related to SN's later, and I have a question to ask everyone out there. Does anyone know if a SN is reused across body types? For example, could I find a T82 200001 and T85 200001? Even though it would be conceivable to do this, from a manufacturing perspective, I'm thinking that the answer to this question is no. Well, I would not want to be the person to cause you another delay, but I saw a cloth type on a recent model Cobra this weekend, and it is sweeeeeeeeeeeeet...So glad that I ordered it...But in the end, it might have cost me 3-4 weeks in delay..
  22. Interesting how our serial numbers are close and the build week are the same...Maybe the numbers are less random than I thought... Don't be shocked if you get the fan blades instead. At least one person in these forums ordered the polished aluminums and got delivered the fan blades...
  23. Unfortunately, since Ford put the kibosh on plant employees tracking that down for us, you'll have to bug your dealer for it. It should have been generated shortly after the plant acknowlediged your order..
