Don't feed the trolls! Don't feed the lions.... It's all the same! ha ha ha !

Priceless. :hysterical: Mike Furrey the best Lions player has the same feeling. I play defense and we suck, I play offense and we suck. Brady Quinn has already pulled an Elway. 200 million dollars If u draft me to play in the most dysfuntional football organization outside of Oakland. Al Davis has probably got alzeheimers and nobodys telling him or afraid. Lions have no excuses.

  2. :hysterical: lol :hysterical: lol :hysterical: lol

Be real......are you just worried that people with more time will keep you on nights??????????

Nope. SFP and CIS will ensure minimal if any new full-time employees in HVC's. Also its election year and I cant see Chairman giving his Chairmainship away. :drop::ohsnap: Im still waiting for the replacement people from the attrition of the last 2 years. 3. Bad choice of words on my part, I forget who I'm dealing with. I guess the next guy will say they have 25 machines. :finger:

Truth is there should be more than adequate machines depending on the area you work in. That should only be in bulk (pallets, black baskets, metal baskets, heavy boxed parts and loose metal parts).

Bin (bagged/or small parts), no machines- your on foot, not that I haven't seen anyone attempt to get one in there.. ooopss

Obviously your not going to have everyone working Bulk area.

Imao, we shall see after the new year how many postings will be available :speedie:

:redcard::stirpot::redcard: People u have a better chance at getting into Augusta National Country Club than the HVC's. :drop::doh::drop:

  4. LoL, too Funny!

Can you do the Lions. From Barry Sanders to Millen to the suck-ass wr draft picks. Lemon come on I want to see sportscenter, your version of the Lions since Scott Mitchell and that playoff game in the last century. Ford is on the way forward Lions still going backwards 2-12 on the way to 2-14.

  5. Stay away from #2 since I hear they are presently on one shift, and rumor has it they will be shifting their work somewhere else. It definately sucks to move once, let alone twice.

Lakeland, Fl. well don't we all wish. You would be lucky to be on day shift with 25 years. The other 3 I don't know too much about.

If you've been "bustin your butt for years welding catalytic converters and building driveshafts" get ready for clean work. You either stockkeep (a.m. shift) or pick orders (p.m. shift). Parts are either boxed, bagged or "metal parts" (like catalytic converters) come in metal baskets, like the ones you guys use. 16 years should get you day shift on the East coast if it is offered. D.C. HVC, Hartford Ct, and Cranbury NJ should definately land you on days (sorry guys). Plenty of machines to operate, for ex; forklifts, reachtrucks and stock chasers.

    Hope this helps... peace :speedie:

Temps and maybe 5 Gen guys from Edison wit 27 years. D.C. dont unpack your bags too quick. Ct lookin like more wit less :ohsnap: BTW plenty of machines is less than 20.

  6. First, I just want to say Happy Holidays to my fellow UAW brothers/sisters, and to wish you guys the best of luck on whatever decisions you have chosen. Myself, well, I have chosen to separate after 10 plus but less than 30years.

For those that are sticking around and have a opportunity to post for (Ford's best kept secret) HVC sites, jump for the chance. These are free effort jobs (not tied to a "line", no requesting bathroom calls). It's almost like working in a supermarket (stocking shelves on Am shift/ picking on Pm shift). You work (most) holidays like x-mas week and convert the time to personal days, for ex; instead of working for triple time, you work at double time and the Holiday (8hrs) is banked as a personal day to be used in the future. Nice feature.

Come January you'll need 10 years plus to be days in Wash D.C. , Cranbury NJ, and Hartford CT with all the buyouts. Just think, as long as FoMoCo produces vehicles (no matter what country) you will always need parts.

Good luck to all of you, I'm outta here.

    Now cut that check :party2:

U forgot to tell them about the people on layoff at 2 of the 3 hvc's you mentioned. The buyouts at these facilities will probably just get the desired # of workers at each facility.

  7. IPITY are you getting bored on the EAST coast or did you come across some good s**t. :stirpot::stirpot::stirpot:

Just bored. Since I decided to stick it out, trying to find a bright side to this Way forward plan. Sep 2007 is the one thing that has me still on this forum board. Once the Uaw and Ford agree I will be able to make a decision on completion of academic requirements for bachelors and HVAC certificates respectively. PRIDX is now 52 dollars. If anybody listened back in June when it was 42. JH213 i hope u did.

Is this Mark Fields? :hysterical: Its obvious the energized agitator is from another planet. You have typed too much BS in the Shrinking US Auto MArket. U are THE GRAT KORNHOLIO. Somebody has to be paying u to write this crap. Union Wage or Exec Pay? :redcard:

  9. Committeepersons do leg work, you have got to be kidding. At NAP we never see any of them.

Also at NAP there is a listing posted with the name of each worker and what they signed up for "buyout, transfer, etc" except for the useless union hall group. They have kept there information top secret! More secret deals going on.

    They are going into GEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. Energized Activator, could you please provide a list of where these tactics have been successful in say the last 25 years?

Before you play dice with the futures of so many people, wouldn't it be a nice idea to just confirm that flapping your wings really does mean you can fly?

The Energized AGITATOR is going to make sure each Uaw member has A go to jail card and/or loss of job forever like the Air Traffic controllers in 1980. :slap: Now Shut this strike committee BS down, The only way Im on Strike is If I roll this idiot down the bowling lane. :drop:

  11. They just started a "plan" called MODAP. Don't ask me what the hell is stands for, but it's going on at the Milan ACH plan. Basically, they give you a ridiculous amount of bumpers to build.....if you don't get the number they write you up. I am watching 2 coworkers per shift, per day get wrote up. Not only do they do that, but they took away a person and want you to get the number with less people. Also, they have put another salary person on......just to watch the line. That's the only job of 1 of the supervisors. Along with Labor Relations standing out there watching us 1/2 the day now too. Just wonder if they are putting the pressure on really heavy at the other plants?

MODAP. SFP. Are apart of the COA and CIS. These processes are aimed at efficiency improvements. Method reviews will be done to come up with MODAP AND SFP sizes. These processes are here to get more work done with less people. When the STATistics come in from your Method reviews a bar will be set and U will have to maintain that. P.s CIS is an ongoing process and u will CONTINUALLY IMPROVE THE SYSTEM OR YOU WILL BE ON DISCIPLINE AND THE PAPER TRAIL WILL START.

  12. I am sitting here with my coffee watching CNN. Isn't it Ironic that the Bush administrations policy changes in Iraq have been dubbed "The Way Forward in Iraq", obviously adopting a certain other flailing administrations motto? :hysterical:

Its the best way to say we goofed and were trying to fix it. When u mess up it still isnt bad because your way forward or trying to go forward, can be always construed as positive untill the way backward. Thus when you say Way Forward U have indeed hit Rock bottom and can maybe MOVE FORWARD like Toyota, India and China. Answer to any question is Were on are way forward from Rock-bottom. :drop:

  13. Are you sure?

I mean if I was Jewish I wouldn't work for a company that has anti-semitic roots.... Now I understand why he hides in the Fields..... lol

Any info re Mark Fields would be greatly appreciated!

We're looking for skeletons in his closet!

Passaic New Jersey is his hometown I believe, I dont know if he went to Passaic High. He probably went to special Yeshiva School in Passaic County some where. He is at least 46 years old so he graduated High school at least by 1979.

  14. You're almost right.

Top laughingstock honors in pro sports goes to the San Diego Clippers. The Lions are a close second! :hyper:

Nope, Lions are in worst shape. The Clipppers moved to Los Angeles and have made the playoffs in the last decade. Lions are in the Cubs Zone. The Cubs have spent a lot of money in the month also, Cubs and Ford are On The way forward. Lions have at least 6 years to even contend for and 8-8 or 9-7 record. CURSE OF BARRY SANDERS WILL LIVE LONGER THAN THE RED SOX CURSE FOR TRADING THE BABE. 80 +years from Sanders retirement. Super BOWL MCII The Lions select Troy Smith as the 1 overall draft pick in the 2007 collegiate draft. Lions will finish 2-14 or 3-13 for the worst record in the NFL.

  15. There are some smart folks on this board. Somebody help me out here...

Ford currently estimates that they will have $20B January 1 2007 (this includes the expected losses in all of 2006). The new round of financing will bring in another $20B. The sale of Aston Martin is currently estimated to bring in another $1.5. Looks like almost $42 billion in cash to me.

Its interesting that Ford has raised enough cash to buy out each share holder at $12 or better a share and still retain about $20B to execute the turnaround.

Citigroup was in the middle of the latest financing deal. Rubin resigned the Ford Board claiming his ties to Citi created a conflict of interest. Makes me wonder if Ford is going private and if Citi is in the middle of it?

Some entity bought over 600 million shares in the last few days representing over 1/3 of total Ford shares outstanding. With all the talking heads talking Ford down to 6, likely only a small % of the shares bought were by retail customers. Someone is hoarding a large chunk of Ford stock, who? Could it be the specialists on the floor accumulating a large position for a dedicated buyer?

The stock price makes no sense from another angle as well.

FORD is trading .09 times revenue…however:

Daimler Chrysler is trading at .32 times revenue

Toyota is trading at 1.o1 times revenue

Honda is trading at 1.47 times revenue

Fiat is trading at .35 times revenue, and

Volkswagen is trading at 2.1 times revenue

At the lowest end of the competitor's price per sales, or .32 times revenue, the stock price would be as follows:

Ford Revenue $166 billion X .32 divided by 1.89 billion shares outstanding =

    $28/SHARE

Now admittedly, Ford is losing money so it should be at the bottom today, but...

Theoretically, if you wanted to make a TON of money, you would take Ford private at $10 to $12 a share, get it back to profitability and then go public at $30 or more... And they have already raised to money to get it done...

Ford stock has been undervalued for a period of close to 4 years. Ford had or has liquidity to sustain an over 13 dollar per share. This is just a small part of the picture. Ford has so many stock certificates out there in the common stock, that ones forget about the preferred shares which are over 24 dollars per share. Ford has substantial liquidity and cash to do what ever they want. :ohsnap:http://yahoo.reuters.com/news/articlehybri...C1-ArticlePage1

  16. I was just wondering how many people took the buyout at phoenix HVC, could someone let me know

There are only about 25 to 35 people working in Phoenix and that will be for a short time, that is the first Hvc to get moved. Start looking to Nevada for new site, will take Denver and possibly ontario for a new bigger Hvc located in Nevada. speculatory fact.

  17. No not everyones jobs. Just the people in salary that started in production, that became arrogant, snobbish, back stabbing, and all around assholes. The thing that pisses me of is they forgot where they came from, well they won't even get the chance to go back to floor at all. I understand they had a job to do, but be a human being sometimes, instead of a power hungry jerk. Oh well, I guess every dog has his day. Carma can really sometimes be a bitch.

Karma :happy feet: :happy feet: :happy feet: :happy feet:

  18. Jeff, whats all this talk about running against you. You signed up for the buy-out, right? There will be no elections at AAI for you anymore!

This may not be popular, and you won't hear it from me very often, but I agree with the Int'l on this one. A member on the floor deserves to have a rep that shares the same interest in the future of Ford that they do. A rep that has accepted a $100,000 pay out and is leaving the company certainly doesn't have the same interest in the future of the plant or it's local union. Either give it up and walk away, or stick it out with the rest of us.

Also you might not want to leave just yet especially if you have over 5 years. Get your Brain working and find out what the Details of the Contract, Amendments and total # of buyouts that will ACTUALLY be taken. I have learned If they say I'll get back to you, I find out before they get back to me and I let em no I know already. Use your God giving brain and dont let nobody tell u different. A bargaining rep has nothing to bargain with at this time so dont be upset if they force you out. You probably could learn and do more from the outside. TIMES ARE CHANGING. Remember WALL STREET and what they have said and how it affects you. If people who are interested in profit tell u u deserve more than THINK. If a 19 year man is offered the same monetary package as a 1 year man THink. I decided not to accept the buyout because of the disclaimer on the bottom, Think. BTW Speculation and facts are two different animals. 38000 accepted buyouts where are they at. They are telling you u have to leave because they dont have 38000, and they need as many off the books asap. THINK :stirpot::ohsnap:

  19. :hyper:

I heard that at NAP, they have a guy named Mr. Ferebee, who has 58 years seniority and is 86 years old. He was supposed to retire on Jan. 1,2007 but changed his mind. That, is keeping one younger person out of work.

Rights my ass, he needs to retire. :stirpot::stirpot: :shades:

We got guys with 40 years and aint leaving cause their ex will get pension benefits. One In particular will defintely make it to 65 years of service, He is Unbelievable. :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :drop:
