Dunno, I just work there, lol. BTW, how are things down yonder at LAP? Looks like you fine folks get to keep your Explorer, and MTP will wait for something to be determined..after all, The Wizard did say we weren't CLOSING, just losing a shift..Methinks there are things afoot concerning MTP.

flow backs are going to take a while for them to get a handle on it. there will be temporaries hired before some flow backs at the hvc's because they don't know who is really going and who isn't. trust the post by ipity. i would be looking at a zone with multiple plants to go to. make 2 wrong zone choices and you will be at the bottom of the list for flow back because others made your bottom zone choices their first.

Rememember, There are over 1 billon Chinese Persons. They outnumber Americans almost 4 to 1. India has a billon people they outnumber us 3.1 to 1. Take into account all these extra workers at life conditions means USA WAKE UP or start learning Mandarin and Paeshwa.

What about the seniority of workers? This sounds like unfair labor practice and favoritism on the part of the Ford and the UAW.

I asked this in another thread, but I will here too...I keep reading about ACH (Visteon) flow backs, that these people are being given options as to what Ford plant they want to go "back" to. Now, are these just for high seniority people, or are everyone in these Visteon/ACH plants being given these options? Also, if THEY get these options, won't WE at MTP? I'm asking here because I know damned well if I ask anyone in the union I'll get "we don't know" or "we suggest you take a buyout".
Somebody did say something about System Wide Seniority Or Zone Wide Seniority. Good Luck tru=ying to get an answer. We could have had at least 75 days more notice on our buyouts around the same time they came out and said we were going to sell How Many F-series. It is our destiny to find out everything at the last minute.

i agree with ipity and jh213. you can't get on days here unless you have more than 32 years. if they drop bench mark numbers there isn't going to be any hvc's to flow back to. way to risky like jh213 said........but good luck

You have Until Nov 27 to bid on your showcase or go back into contestant row and hope for the next round of showcases whether it Be GEN Transfer or Plant Not closing. If anybody has been working longer than Bob Barker its time to Come on down, all others have a plan and your showcase can be yours if the price is right.
This Is not a Joke, These packages should have had a little longer time to mull but from the wizard the contract book and sales figures, this was all planned at least from 2005. These Buyout brochures are better than Ford World, Bold Moves, the 500 etc. Come On Down remember Bob Barker, And Gerald Bantam, Nate Gooden and all the real mccoys are.

Most HVC have TLO's and are looking to reduce. Don't mean to spoil your party, but if you don't have 30 yrs you should most defintely look elsewhere. Putting down an HVC as your zone of choice is risky at best. Good Luck. :titanic:

I don't think the glass house is gonna stay "static" on this buyout and wait untill they get all the numbers in. They still have some cards to play BEFORE the buyout deadline and I believe that they'll use them and will play at least some of them first...They still have "unreleased plant closings" that could instantly turn the numbers to their favor...It makes more sense to me that the glass house would release these closings within the next week-week 1/2 way before they would ever consider enhanced buyouts or extending deadlines. This way they could (and I believe are) micro-manage the buyouts while they're happening...They know what they're gonna close and they're not telling....not yet...
I agree. There is a disclaimer on the buyout papers that refers to individuals that accept a buyouy within this period is not eligible for any other revisions of a new buyout offer. This is just to cover Litigation if necessary which without trucks and car sales thru the roof. EDOPP can get u an equivilent of over 200,000 gross so it aint no need to wait if your following this path.

You are correct. This is not the place to bring this up, but he had those children and has a responsibility to support them. If Ford and the court system are not giving her any money right now he should aleast give her some money for food until the system takes its course. This is not about some "c**t" wanting money. ITS ABOUT 5 KIDS THAT HAD NO SAY IN THIS MATTER! Oh yes there are two sides to every story. But the story here is the man has the responsibility to take care of his own.
I bet the five kids just want their real daddy back and are still wondering why mom left dad after 5 freaking kids, 1 is understandable 2 is thinking of yourself, 3 kids and you aint too bright if these kids are under 14. 4 or more kids and then u leave is just simply assinine from the first ejaculation into Dora 's baby factory to the court case still pending, Pure IDIOTS and The kids will pay you back.

Yes waiting to see the buyout numbers and trying to figure if anybody will take a chance on flowback to the HVC's which are rapidly losing people. It would be quite a risk to list your one and only ZONE to an HVC plant. Don't you agree.
My zone has 162 waiting for about maybe 12 spots and thats if they replace 1 for 1. U have a better chance getting into Hermosillo than an Hvc, If you do make it the last one that made it had 92 seniority and that was because Alot of older guys declined at the time.

Don't know about that, but if the keys are in the ignition, whether the car is running or not, the person behind the wheel can be charged with DUI if they blow over the legal limit.

If you are refering to thje 45,000 dollars as transfer money? That language could go away. Remember, its about survival. The company and the union knows you would transfer for free if you want to SURVIVE!
No transfers accepted at HERMOSILLO OR ST PETERSBURG. These two plants are off limits for transfers. NO PESOS OR RUBLES

Hello Forrcury. The new Ford that has that Mercury class. Bring Ford up to Mercury levels as far as interior and perception. Lincoln must decide if its luxury or just a really nice Ford.
