Speaking of which.....what happened to those pics? :shades:
Forgot about the the pics. Here they are and I plan on getting some 2" lowering shackles for it

haha looks and sounds like you are pretty proud of your new f150! :shades:
Damn straight I am! :happy feet:

I wonder if the Ram price slashing is going to hurt the F-150's? All Dodge newspaper ads are showing $12,000 off sticker It isn't on the cheap models either. It's the Hemi, crew cab, etc..
If I needed a truck for mostly city use and the occasional camping trip how could you not be interested in that? Plus, they offer lifetime powertrain warranty so that too could be a deal breaker. I would probally still get the F-150, but how many out there wouldn't mind saving a few thousand dollars.
Chrysler could offer a Dodge Ram to me for free and I still wouldn't take it. It may have an engine but that is it!!! Transmission sucks, the interior especially sucks and it's a Dodge.

One of the many reasons why they are in bankruptcy court and Ford is not.
-
Thanks! Can't wait to see them.
Yeah, especially one that you brag about putting 22's on.
My Avataor is my new truck. It is a Royal Red/ Silver two-tone XLT Supercrew.

Hasn't the Limited made up a rather large (if not the biggest) percentage of Flex sales so far?
Was that directed at me or sixt9coug?
Congrats! Do you have pictures for us to see? :shades:
I will post some this weekend if you want.

I was one of those 33,381 deliveries for the F-Series, I traded my 08' F-150 in for an 09' a couple of weeks ago, so I did my part to help the American auto industry. I just put some 22's on my baby yesterday and it looks :shades:

I absolutely love them

Damn straight and the just proves that most buyers out there don't care which truck has the most powerful engine. The will buy the best pickup out there in terms of its capability and it's hard to doubt a truck frame by Ford because that is the benchmark for the 1/2 ton segment and in the 3/4 ton segment a well.
-
I have had my F-150 for 2 1/2 yrs and I don't have any rust spots like that on my truck except under the hood but not on the bumper. Toyotas are just pure crap when it comes to pickups, just look at the picture above lol.

I am going to order my F-150 when the order bank opens because I am one who actually uses my truck for work although I don't use it much but from time to time I will have to. I don't care how much tire burning horespower a truck has, I look at the ride, handling, and features the truck has and the F-150 is by far the best in those categories especially in the frame. So for all of you griping and moaning about how the F-150 should have 400 hp like the dodge and Turd then go out and buy one and race some mustangs at the drag strip. :reading:

Nice,very nice
That red lariat will be my next truck it looks like. :shades: :happy feet:

Ford just put up the main page on their website.

I think it's pretty fuckin' sweet.
And fire up Chips!^^
Me too :happy feet: :shades:

Or you can just wait and see that I'm right.
Ford will probably say something about it during their media conference or I hope they do. I also find it interesting that there will be a 2-valve anD a 3 valve version of the 4.6 liter V-8.

It's amazing how may are drawing conclusions without waiting for the specs and all the features that will be available plus interior specs and what Ford did to the chassis and engine. I have already heard about some innovative features that I'm sure Ford will put into press release. I personally wouldn't draw conclusions until I sat in it, drove it, climbed in bed, went over every spec inside and out, and looked at price. It sounds to me thought that Ford took this redesign seriously and comprehensively went through the whole truck and improved it in many ways.
Agreed!!!!! and I will most certainly be one of the first ones to go take a test drive when Ford releases them. :happy feet:

Can't really see too much, I see a Crew and a SuperCab. Is the single cab still going to have the access door or are they canning that?
I'd like to see they rear gate step in the 150 line as well. Awesome little extra.
I believe Ford is dumping the access cab and going back to the tradtional 2 door regular cab which is a little dissapointing because I think the doors on the acess cabs are useful and the tailgate step is supposed to be an available option for the F-150

Popular mechanics snapped some more photos of the 2009 F-150. I can't wait till this bad boy comes out. :happy feet:

I drive one because im a big time Ford guy and my dad is a Ford Motor Co. employee (30 yrs). In my personal opinion I think Ford makes the best pickups in the indusrty. As a matter of fact my parents just bought a F-150 a couple of weeks ago and they love it. I also think that thier cars are very underrated in terms of quality especially the 500 er I mean the Tauras yeah it may lok bland as hell but it has a very nice interior and its tops in its class when it comes to safety. I think alot of people ask this question because the media is warping thier minds with this crap about how the Japanese make the best cars and trucks when in reality they don't, for example Toyota led all manufacturers for most recalls in a year. So thats all the reasons I have and hopefully it awnsers your question.
-
I absolutely love it!!!!! and it even has a built in jukebox which is sweet.
-
Nobody is buying that bloated looking Dodge Ram rip off piece of crap. I always drive buy a Toyota dealership on my way to work and I see tons of them just rotting on dealer lots; of course I live in Oklahoma where Ford and Chevy rule the state here.
-
For one thing the Edge is one hot looking CUV especially in Black with the chrome rims while the Acadia just screams full size SUV when it tries to be considered a crossover which is probably turning people off because they thing it guzzles too much gas.

Yeah I am not too suprised by this. I have not seen one single new Mustang on the road here in Tulsa. When I bought my F-150 a couple of months ago the dealership was swamped with 10's because they weren't selling.
