  1. Mustang Sales are still stinking up the place...I'm shocked at the Escape sales up 94%!

The TC is another nice suprise

Yeah I am not too suprised by this. I have not seen one single new Mustang on the road here in Tulsa. When I bought my F-150 a couple of months ago the dealership was swamped with 10's because they weren't selling.

  2. I wonder if the Ram price slashing is going to hurt the F-150's? All Dodge newspaper ads are showing $12,000 off sticker :ohsnap: It isn't on the cheap models either. It's the Hemi, crew cab, etc..

If I needed a truck for mostly city use and the occasional camping trip how could you not be interested in that? Plus, they offer lifetime powertrain warranty so that too could be a deal breaker. I would probally still get the F-150, but how many out there wouldn't mind saving a few thousand dollars.

Chrysler could offer a Dodge Ram to me for free and I still wouldn't take it. It may have an engine but that is it!!! Transmission sucks, the interior especially sucks and it's a Dodge.

  3. Damn straight and the just proves that most buyers out there don't care which truck has the most powerful engine. The will buy the best pickup out there in terms of its capability and it's hard to doubt a truck frame by Ford because that is the benchmark for the 1/2 ton segment and in the 3/4 ton segment a well.

  4. I am going to order my F-150 when the order bank opens because I am one who actually uses my truck for work although I don't use it much but from time to time I will have to. I don't care how much tire burning horespower a truck has, I look at the ride, handling, and features the truck has and the F-150 is by far the best in those categories especially in the frame. So for all of you griping and moaning about how the F-150 should have 400 hp like the dodge and Turd then go out and buy one and race some mustangs at the drag strip. :reading:

  5. It's amazing how may are drawing conclusions without waiting for the specs and all the features that will be available plus interior specs and what Ford did to the chassis and engine. I have already heard about some innovative features that I'm sure Ford will put into press release. I personally wouldn't draw conclusions until I sat in it, drove it, climbed in bed, went over every spec inside and out, and looked at price. It sounds to me thought that Ford took this redesign seriously and comprehensively went through the whole truck and improved it in many ways.

Agreed!!!!! and I will most certainly be one of the first ones to go take a test drive when Ford releases them. :happy feet:

  6. Can't really see too much, I see a Crew and a SuperCab. Is the single cab still going to have the access door or are they canning that?

I'd like to see they rear gate step in the 150 line as well. Awesome little extra.

I believe Ford is dumping the access cab and going back to the tradtional 2 door regular cab which is a little dissapointing because I think the doors on the acess cabs are useful and the tailgate step is supposed to be an available option for the F-150

  7. I drive one because im a big time Ford guy and my dad is a Ford Motor Co. employee (30 yrs). In my personal opinion I think Ford makes the best pickups in the indusrty. As a matter of fact my parents just bought a F-150 a couple of weeks ago and they love it. I also think that thier cars are very underrated in terms of quality especially the 500 er I mean the Tauras yeah it may lok bland as hell but it has a very nice interior and its tops in its class when it comes to safety. I think alot of people ask this question because the media is warping thier minds with this crap about how the Japanese make the best cars and trucks when in reality they don't, for example Toyota led all manufacturers for most recalls in a year. So thats all the reasons I have and hopefully it awnsers your question.

  8. For one thing the Edge is one hot looking CUV especially in Black with the chrome rims while the Acadia just screams full size SUV when it tries to be considered a crossover which is probably turning people off because they thing it guzzles too much gas.
