  1. After quickly scanning the contract highlights, I am voting NO. I can take the higher drug and doctor office co-pays, and just about every other concession they have asked, but I will not approve a contract that does not specifically explain what will happen to the Ford workers currently at ACH locations.

Sorry, Ron. You get a C for effort.

YOUR :censored: DAMN RIGHT BROTHER!!No language about ACH'S..We have been waiting all this time for this bullshit!!!I to am voting NO!!!!!

  2. I'm sick this ACH BULLSHIT!!!I'm gratefull that I have a job.I'm in no position take to any buyout, I have 14 years.Flowback is not working. The union..ha never mind.No information about the sell of our plant to Meridian, who by the way lock there people out and have been bankrupt..WTF!!! :banghead:

  3. Indy has got rid of a big part of flowback folks((prod.)) as well...the exceptions are the ones that only chose HVC's and there is a handful((20 or so)) that just chose Ky for their only choice...good news for Indy is we have got a few extra years anything can happen i suppose...

WILL KY take anyone by September.?I know they still have temps.I know they still have some folks leaving through buyouts.I'm signed up as well for ky.

  4. PC sent a letter out yesterday saying that Valeo is not interested in buying Sheldon Road at this time. This followed intense bargaining between Valeo and the local BC. The sticking points were wages and benefits. Valeo pays $10.75 at their plant in Hamilton, OH and wanted that rate at SRP. The production population is mostly Visteon supplementals at $14.50. Their pullout may just be a bargaining ploy, figuring that things will change around September and they will have more leverage. Supposedly, the head of Valeo NA was heard to say something to the effect of --we'll open a plant down the road and bury you. Hmmm Anyway, the ACH plant are watching these negotiations because they may well set the precedence for all the ACH plant which are sold. Have not heard a word about this in the media so far but battle may be brewing. Stay tuned............

I was just wondering what they are offering at Sheldon Road.I work at Sandusky ACH and there are talks of are plant being bought.I was wondering how flowback was working out for your plant also.I know of several transfers here but they are still unable to exhaust the list.I know of a few with there destination plant but no starting date.thanx

  5. on page 12 I believe it's the last paragraph on the page it spells out what the company plans to do with you once your plant is closed or sold by the end of 2008. further in the book it explains under the Job Bank info that only aprox 1000 people signed up for flow back ( sounds like those will be taken care of). In a nutshell it explains about how many took the buyout and how the hourly rolls will be lessened even more with the closures of all the ACH holdings. Sounds like if you didn't sign up for flowback you might be screwed (according to the companys anual shareholders meeting info). Good luck to all. If there are anymore life rafts floating around please give true info to all, not the typical B.S. ( I heard from my uncle in dearborn ect...)

I signed up and i'm still screwed.I don't think everyone on that list is going back to a ford fac.I for one signed up for zone7 Ky. They have there own problems. Not everyone on that list is moving.I work at sandusky ach and we have a potential buyer right now.I can only imagine the mess we're about to have..

  6. :happy feet: at least you guys get some kind of information. we just get kept in the dark about everything. the onle thing we get is your all going to loose your jobs and be replaced by temps. If this is hoy the UAW works its time for a overhaul or just get rid of it so we only get bent by the company. :finger:

Ford makes money on the temps.Until the uaw does something about this there going to keep doing it.I think ford can see that people are willing to work for lower wages for the same work.I think by allowing this to continue we are in a world of hurt come contract time.No doubt the uaw is getting weaker.

  7. Once again, flowback is all screwed up. Has anybody who has received their "moving papers" actually began working at their new facility? First it was all flowbackers would be gone by Feb 1st....then March 1st....now maybe summer shutdown....what a joke. I'm beginning to wonder if flowback will go in "full swing" due to the number of temps working at these other plants. It looks like Ford has their foot in the door on lower wages and will not let these temps go, therefore screwing up flowback. Just my opinion.......

ktp is receiving 500 to 800 temps..I'm hoping to flowback there but its not looking to good. They do what they want.

  8. 500 to 800 temps! We were told that the international put a stop to all new temps in ford facilities due to flowback.I know about the line speed etc.I can't see them holding us flowbacks off to long, there going to need people.I am anxious to flowback myself.I hope everything works out for LAP but I need a job to.good luck to all..

  9. slowcash- do you have any info on KY zone? that is where i choose myself...where do you fall on the list to go? my sen. is 1-4-93, yours? stay in touch and goodluck...

sorry no info as of right now.I have some family at ktp and they are saying there filling in with temps for the time being..I guess we are waiting on lap info also..my sen. is 06/28/1994

  10. I work at sandusky ach.I was told monday that 106 people will be flowing back to Avon in march. In two waves.I did'nt get that from the union, got that from labor rep. so there might be some truth to it...I myself signed up for ky zone..who knows can't get any straight answers all speculation...slow process
