I would like to add a change to scheduling rules so they can’t hold our weekends hostage anymore. Decisions on Super Saturday or Super Sunday must be made by Noon on Wednesday at latest.

how can ford  /(UAW)ask someone to work "C" crew..... they work Friday and Saturday day shift and sunday & Monday afternoon shift. if you want to say something , then work it for a week . uaw where are you. we should work 3shifts. be careful who you vote for..if the uaw endorses a president vote for the other. amen

Union leaders still get full scale while everyone else is on their waiting week for unemployment. Solidarity !

i really dont understand, if true, that union local presidents and other union officals would get paid full wages!! (as we are off) as a ford worker i really find it offense to hear this. i hope its not true, if so then i will look at them Much differently, are they really helping ME or themselves.(dumb question) i think WE need to really look at we we elect, or if THAT even matters....

Nobody makes it own their own they build upon others that came before them. If you really think you do not need anyone but yourself and you think  have done everything on your own you my friend are the one who has been brainwashed by right.

just get ready for the crazy lady from san fran, remember "lets pass it then we will find out whats in it"  god help us one and all. remember LOTS of vets are in the uaw and don't get what the hell is going on, on the LEFT coast!!

  5. What is that a camera behind that dark glass so they can see who's really punches in for ya? Or are they going to put a security guard in that little space to make sure nothing happens it. :play:

I can see someone making some serious $$$

a lot of large companies use a finger print scan.

  6. if you are foolish enough to believe Trump cares about trade pacts yet manufactures his clothing line in mexico and his hotel goods in China, crosses picket lines, hires scabs instead of building trades and has been an enemy of unions for years....................

Says we are overpaid and our jobs will be sent to low waged, southern republican states (with tax incentives) that hold down living wages and beg for our jobs back at lower wages with no benefits.

You deserve the full wrath of republican utopia of low wages, no benefits, no collective bargaining rights and a path to destroying unions

God help this country if trump the buffoon is elected

ok you vote for the sick old lady and we will send you to Benghazi, do you feel safe??(she's got your back ha ha) the reason companies, like ford and trump send ther work out is because we are taxxxed soooo much here, get it!!! Make america great again!

  7. The Fusion is no longer built in the US. Production in Flat Rock ended in the middle of February.

Even before that, bronze fire wasn't one of the colors offered on FRAP built Fusions.

The only colors on US built Fusions are/were:

    -Shadow Black

    -Oxford White

    -Magnetic

    -Guard

    -Spirit Blue

    -Ruby Red

    -White Metallic Tricoat

thanks for the information, had no idea fusions were no longer built at flatrock.

  8. I received the $8,500 signing bonus + a $1,500 profit sharing pull ahead in December.

I expect the $1,500 will be deducted from the profit sharing total ($3.97 multiplier).

2011 agreement had the same pull ahead benefit and will probably work the same as 2011 profit sharing/signing bonus scenario.

Thankful for the pull ahead as most trades paid off FICA back in the summer so the $10,000 bonus was taxed much, much lower.

Hope they do the pull ahead again in 2019---

paid back fica in the summer? so your saying trades made $118k already in june / july. wow... hard to believe with all the AWS schedules. so we are getting the bonus in march... so they (the skilled trades) will be taxed at the full rate, because they haven't reached the fica limit.

  9. Attention all trades on these schedules !!!!!!

This issue has finally been fixed. Holiday conversion and double time on these schedules is now bankable UPTO our hours worked. This is the best language in the agreement.

We must pass this agreement,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, for Im sure this language would be one to fall off if we vote down the agreement and we lose this great achievement for trades on these schedules across the country..

We all thank you GT !!!! Good job/proud

    he's drinking too much kool-aid.

  10. The people you elect are supposed to be your voice, vote in new people if you don't like who is there now.

You can't have all UAW members vote on who is the union president, smaller locals from other parts of the country may have a great leader and if no one in the big 3 knows of him because he's at a smaller place in the middle of no where that person would never have a shot.

It's wise to have the elected officials make that choice as they know who is who.

It's up to us to make sure we keep local officials honest and in check by letting them know any nonsense and you will not be reelected.

Go ahead everyone scream about the corruption and you know better.

Make the system work for you, don't let it work you.

i'm lost as to what you are saying. why can't we have all uaw members vote on OUR president? isn't that democratic? so if you live in tecumseh mi., small town. you should not be able to vote for the president of the USA?man they got you brain washed. i wish you you the best. you're alarm clock is ringing,,,,,wake the hell up!!!

  11. I believe the IUAW got all they could-- Enter the 2 to 1 vote going down = Solidarity getting sergio off his stupid shit and getting the leverage the IUAW needed

    Love my Union !!!

yea, i'm sure sergio got nothing in return....lol... it would seem like a good deal for chrysler, but they will not see the FINE print until it's passed, and thats a shame. but thats how the uaw democracy works..i guess. the membership can't even vote for the uaw president. just think if thats how we elect presidents in the USA? not very democratic to me.

  12. There is nothing to hear, the company said they are cutting a shift, the people laid off will get there walking papers and it's business as usual for the people left.

If your laid off you just sit and draw unemployment and hope to hear something, this is the way it was back in 2008 when DTP cut a shift, what are you guys wanting to hear , there's not much to hear!!

Are you looking for some kinda buffet and a movie, the company is not gonna take you on a date before you get canned

are you a union member? cause yea sound like management. ugk!!!

  13. Last years models starting 09-14 had a sticker on the drivers side window that said 85% of this vehicle had product made/assembled in the U.S. FWIW...

well that's thanks to the two tier wages... i'm just guessing. check again, 85%....

  14. I see Chrysler sales are doing very well, if I remember correctly the media busted it's workers doing things on there lunch break.

Sales depend on customers wanting your product, not what the media reports!

chrysler is a foreign auto company, has been for a decade or so. the only reason sales may be up is jeep.

  15. so it won't affect the future as you say. unless the media gets wind of of it....then?

His DUI will not affect LAP's future, the SALES of the products you build will decide that!
Why does everybody think the union controls the fate of a plant!

  16. Don't like my truck or shot gun do ya.

    Both AMERICAN made !

And of course 34 posts and a joined date of 4/2015.

Daddy get you your job did he.

how many american parts are on that truck ??? when i worked a dtp i would say 75% of the parts are NOT made here!.....

  17. Obviously this fu@ktard doesn't understand the word UNION.

Why would ones local language that could effect everybody in the UNION not just there local be allowed. Only the IUAW can make this happen and believe you me it ain't.

Yes you are one of a kind and by your posting you surely don't UNDERSTAND the CONTRACT do ya now.

have you ever been to dearborn complex, they have there own rules. crazy. ask your UNION if they know the meaning of UNION?????

  18. I know in 2010 - 2011 time frame hundreds of trades were reduced and working in production and no apprentices due to the economic meltdown.

The UAW got all of the trades back to work AND new 400 apprentices now and by the end of the year will have a total of 600 apprentices is an awesome feat in a short amount of time.

Seems you are 400 apprentices closer and may get an opportunity with the additional 200 going on before the end of the year. Good luck to you brother or sister.

could tooltime do a breakdown as to what locations these 400 apprentices are located, just wondering.

  19. I have worked many locations in trades over the years and know trades in just about every location in south east Michigan. With the windfall of product and infrastructure investment bargained by the UAW in the 2011 agreement many locations continue to benefit from trades needs. Just to name a few the Rooge and LTP are extremely short of trades form this negotiated job security investment. Im sure if any trade is laid off in south east Michigan, there should be an opening for them as well as new apprentices.

yea, just like at michigan assembly, loosing an entire shift. trades needs??? whats that. hypocrite
