It's Official, MTP will lose a shift

It is official just talked to a person that was in the salary meeting today and they are doing it in the first 1/4 of 2007 and they are backfilling open buyout positions with wixom people or whoever then cutting the shift. -
I heard that Sant Claus is going to be there recruiting workers for his shop to build matchbox cars it seems the elves went on stike and moved to another local toy builder.

No Chance in hell, i would ever buy a ford again and i would tell everyone i know not to buy one but that is only if i loose my job and i am not taking the buyout, I have given back to ford for 15yrs buying their products and i feel if i loose my job they need no more support..!

I spoke with a guy the other day from V.O. and he said the rumor he's hearing is that mtp will go down to 1 shift until the explorer plant closes and we will get that.? -
We haven't been asked yet, just in negotiations for the 4 day work week as far as we've heard. :shrug:

Ford needs to bring back the bronco, they have nothing to compete against the jeep with and their new models of the wrangler. People have always loved the bronco and still do.They need to make it so the top comes off like the originals and be rugged,Poweful and capable of serious offorading and build it at the original "Home of the Bronco" MTP.

I have to agree it's the same shit every day rumors abound, I heard were going to one shift, i heard were off the rest of the week and maybe next week, I heard were off the whole next quarter, and so on, and so on , and so on, I just wish they would do what they are going to do so we all (Ford and uaw) can get back to making some money again.!!!
