Anyone know when we get our holiday pay for the week of Christmas?? Also if you have left over personal time for the year when will you get that??

There are guys in the pit in Trim who had a deep fryer and would make fried clams every Friday....you could smell it through all of Trim.

When I worked @ NAP I used my headphones, cellphone, SAT radio, DVD player, TV, two way...anything to get me through the night. I know a guy who had a whole entertain system on the line. He had a 19" flat screen LCD with surround speakers and subwoofer. Management didn't care unless we weren't hitting our numbers or sending junk down the line, but @ NAP we could build a truck in our sleep with no defects. :reading:

Congrats!!! Today was also my last day at NAP I didn't think I would be sad to leave for the last time and I was right. I made a couple of good friends I will keep in touch with, but I wont miss the backstabbing, two faced rest of them. CUT MY CHECK!!! :happy feet:

That is just what I heard, but im hoping it is true. Today is my last day and im so ready to move on. They were smart not to give me my papers last night cause I feel like shit today and I damn sure would have not come in.

I heard we are getting it Friday.

Paying off all my debt and me and family are taking a Disney cruise.

I start classes at ECPI on Jan 2nd for Electronic Engineering and working part time with a friend who is a master electrcian. Hopefully I will find out tonight if I will be able to leave Friday or Jan 12th.

My supervisor came around last night and had everyone who is staying til the end sign their paperwork and they already assigned my job to someone else starting Jan 2nd so it looks like I will be able to leave Friday. :happy feet:

I have one, but not the other...only 4 years in. I guess we will see what happens on Friday...maybe I will get lucky.

Did you ask to go ASAP?? Do they do it my seniority or by job coverage??

We are scheduled to do 10s all week...last night we did a 8.8. Im seeing Jan 12th as my release date since my counterpart on dayshift is transferring to DTP and there is nobody left to do my job other than utility. Do you remember what day the people getting their release papers got them?? Thanks for the info.

Did they get their seperation papers or transfer papers?? I saw the guy walking around handing out pink slips, but that was for people going to DTP. I was told that Friday we would get a 2 hour lunch like dayshift did last week so that those who want to resign can do so. The schedule on the board for the week after New Years has us doing 10hrs, but other than that I dont know.

I hope that is true. Whoever ends up doing my job will be lucky cause it is cake. :reading:

The job is pretty easy just shoot 4 screws and a pillow stuffer. There are about 4-5 people who know my job, but they all have their own job and two are utility. Do you know how the jobs will be allocated once they start running one shift?? Also are there any down weeks in January and when will they start the one shift?? Damn so they didn't tell you guys until Friday that you can volutary quit?? They will probably do the same with us so that they won't be short bodies to run the line. At least you get to keep your vacation and holiday pay.

Did you resign or retire?? If you resigned...are they letting people leave on Jan 1st??
