I heard there are a couple of them trying to make a difference , and a bunch of cry babies wanting to quit . In spite of it all , just want to say you people are doing a fine job ! Hope some of those formen try to work with the membership . Any good foremen in trim or chassis ?

I last saw my TESPHE balances on 12/31/2009. Now Fidelity shows $0.00 balance. And I cannot find the site where my money went. Sounds like a great way to make off with a few millions with a weeks head start.
go back in to your fidelity acct --- look @ left margin click on statement next window look in shaded area ( green ) the amount under transfer was your balance as of 12/31/09, it will also show you other amounts realized/unrealized gains etc. good luck i'm sure it is no rip off of $$$

Hello brothers and sisters. I came from Wixom to Dearborn stamping. It was a good place to work, and I liked alot of my co-workers, I bid to transfer to Wayne to be able to drive a shorter distance only. Please listen to your heart and look around you, prices going up all around and the money in your pocket is the same. Our IUAW has their own interest at heart ( self serving ) , Please Rouge Complex listen/read to what is being said/written from DTP IUAW reps recently voted themselves ( 3%raise ) none for us. If voted yes your local reps get ( $5 per hour raise ) none for us. So really, now, who is trying to get you to vote yes ? Please talk on the floor, be smart, use your heads and your hearts vote this thing down......................... vote N O ! Before you talk about something you need be educated about it. Bashing our UAW that represents all of us is pretty stupid! To all, you should vote on the agreement and not all this other BS that is being thrown up in our faces that has nothing to do with this agreement. Vote on the facts, not because of what someone tells you, or what happened in the last agreement, or what happened in Feb of 2009 or in 2007, or because you are pist at your committee person or the International. Vote on it for what is in it. If you actally read the language and hear the explanation behind the negotiations then you will be able to make an educated decision. That is what people should be saying. We have a democratic union and we will decide by voting. Vote on facts, not someones opinion. No one should be telling you how to vote. Get us facts and let us decide.

I also install weatherstrip ...we use purple merpol, it makes install much easier...
Please , be careful w/that stuff . Merpol is a known carcinogen ( cancer causing agent ) do your own research w/material safety data sheet . I can't believe we still allow that in our plants. you get it on your skin , which is inevitable , report it to medical ! We use to use soap & water instead . Merpol has a # on the barrel have health & safety give you the material safety data . Be careful out there .

yes, i was there.i did not see any chairperson, and jr. said there are going to be job postings - sheldon,saline and one other, um, i believe he said monday ( 6-15-09 ) the postings go up. any people that go from wayne,isa those jobs will be backfilled from layoff people. also postings' are available to all to sign/w rtbu rights'also the demo @ mi trk is two weeks ahead of schedule & being done by our people. it was called for & passed that there will be no meetings in july,august ......... hope this helps.

My elder brother works for one of the companies that won the bid to retool MTP, they're supposed to be starting the job in June. Just thouht I'd put that out there for what it's worth.

My best friend has a master’s degree and has been out of work for 11 months. Another friend of mine is a union trained welder with 25 years experience and has been out of work since last April. Another friend of mine just lost her job also of 25 years at a bank and was replaced by an immigrant with a work visa. After unemployment runs out, they get extensions but these extensions have to have some kind of repercussions to our economy and these extensions will eventually run out. When they finally do run out, do you think these people will still sit at home and draw nothing? No there going to find minimum wage jobs which under normal circumstances would be turned down for the job because they are over qualified. Soon minimum wages jobs will be flooded with applicants that have degrees or trades and this will force non skilled workers who have been loyal to their employers for years to live on the streets when their extensions run out. If you don't think were headed for the crapper you better look again because corporate America just put a plunger over our heads. If you haven’t noticed this is only the beginning. There is a lot of momentum with this depression or recession or down turn or what ever you want to call it. There are at least 11 million Americans who do not have a job. The rest of us are too scared to spend any money. That means more businesses will close, more lay offs, more bankruptcies. It’s going to get much worse before it gets better. Jafo I’m afraid this is very real and you are not an exception to this economy. It doesn’t matter what skills you have if your company cuts your job or just can’t stay afloat. I’m not trying to shit in your wheaties but you just sound so much like George W. Bush about this whole thing.
