the motor is bolted to the body instead of a k member and the liquid filled motor mounts arn't right ,a sealer problem that is being corrected on the line in trim and there are probraly others but not unusual for a new launch. exkuse the spellin
you'll have too ask ford about that one , they haven't said when job1 is for the mks.but i do know that aout 12 or so mks wwere run through body,e-coat,prime then shipped to detriot this week.most likely for new paint colors
in paint we had a speech by dave best he is going to fix the paint dept.he is a consultant for fords paint dept.
this dude is going toshow us what is acceptable and what is not.according to dave some sags are acceptable
i had door sags and he bought them off and didn't write on the back of the ticket to have them fixed on the floor.so i asked him why he did that and he said what sags as i was pointing them out he said my name is on there [b.F.D.]he is moving people around causeing so much dirt to be left on the cars it so ridiculas.to mre he's just another r retieree suckking at the teet of fords money and not helping the situation.that's my 2 cents
i work in paint and we have been sending 08's to trim so i assume that the new trans is being put in them,we do have booth shift's but currently on a 3 week lay off
the rumor is that they are going to install 42 paint robots in the booth and replace the sprayers for the interiors with robots,in my opinion that would be a good thing for the plant
i work the polish line at cap,and you would not belive the da marks that they let go to the floor with this buy out stuff they have new people in the e-coat scuff booth that don't know how to use a da it's really sad and i'm sorry about the finish on the stang
