  1. what do you mean "that's the easiest to figure out"?
  2. So are you saying that in Romeo no trades are actually running any machines as machine operators?
  3. What is a machining coordinator? Do they operate machinery? and how many and what trades are doing this?
  4. Absolutely and cep's contract was actually not bad. LEP's was nothing like it at all!
  5. Thanks for the info we were told a month ago that you guys were getting ready to start your IMT program where as skilled trades are running some machines in machining. So you say there is no talk of that?
  6. Finally found someone from Romeo. You say your local hasn't been signed yet due to some trades issues? Would that have anything to do with an IMT program they might be trying to shove down your throat? Give us some info.
  7. Where exactly did they agree to it ? It is not in their local contract. But besides all that, where was local 1219 union at to take them under their wing since we all are brothers and sisters? Lets hear from cep to get their version!
  8. Sure hope M/R don't stand for machine repair because if you want an IMT program you can kiss your trade bye-bye!!
  9. So exactly how much do you know about an IMT program? Obviously nothing if you think it is a step in the right direction!!
  10. We at LEP would like some info on your MWT program that you guys are doing. (trades working as production)We have heard rumors that are local has changed our IMT program to a MWT program for our next reading of our local contract since the IMT program got voted down. Any info on how it works, what trades are involved, including numbers would be helpful.
  11. We haven't heard our new contract yet but the word has it that they changed from an IMT program to a MWT program and we just wanted to find out some info on it. We heard that CEP1 has some mechanical trades operating machines and we wanted to find out how that was working for you .
  12. We at LEP heard that CEP1 has MWTs istaed of IMTs do you have any info on how that system works?
  13. Thanks keep us informed on as much info as you can so no one gets the wool pulled over. See if you can find out about cep1. We got a copy of their contract and there was no IMT in that but who knows what has happened since that.
  14. They are pulling your leg! Dearborn's IMT program consist of departmental overtime and that's it!! Our first local agreement was full of IMT language and we turned it down. as of yet we have no local agreement. We are doing a pilot IMT program right now with trades working as production operators and doing their trade at the same time but we have not voted on this to be permanent yet And if our next contract looks like the last one, from what I've heard, it probably won't pass either We don't like it and believe us you won't either. Wish you could post that flyer because they are telling us the same thing about staying competitve with you! They told us you already have an IMT program and we have to do this to keep up..
  15. So what IMT language is in your contract and how will it work?
  16. Just wanted to know if any of the powertrain plants have signed their local contracts yet and if there is any IMT language in it?
  17. Your 3.5 program is 18 months behind schedule and millions over budget. You guys started that program 6 months before we did and ours is in place and millions under budget and we have been building and selling engines for almost a year. We just sent our staff engineers up there to get you running so don't count your chickens before their hatched! Who says there will be any future increments? Anything is possible. Four years is a very short time.
  18. usually don't take me 60 words to say what I want. I see you too!
  19. Aren't you the same mill wright that tried to talk all the other millwrights into taking off on a saturday because you were pissed at the company then turned around and worked it yourself?
  20. this to the only millwright in the imt program that does not think production has a voice. EAT SHIT I work real close to you.
  21. You've really given us all alot to think about. I'm unhappy with the IMT program? How about all the majority of production and majority of trades that voted it down!! Don't they count too?You think I bad mouth the union and company? No I just don't agrree with some people that don't want to protect our trades jobs. If you were up on the IMT concept you would know that the places that do it contract out all of their trades work. Is that what you want? None of the trades want to go back to production for less money but at least we would have guaranteed recall rights! IMT's don't! Yes this is the place for ford employees to talk about issues of their plants and other plants. Yes I have read studies on IMT programs. Yes I do read about other locals bad mouthing us ! They say we are the ones that started this IMT shit! I am glad that Romeo, Dearborn, the international and other plants read this so maybe someone can keep our local in line about what they give away and will force other plants to give away. So having a rep go with international to negotiate is something new? Next contract it's our turn to send someone up. Not everyone feels like I do you are right but obviously 79% of production and 69% of trades did last time around or don't they count? Most of the IMTs like the program? Give me a break!! Ask them what they would rather do and when their year is up if they have the seniority you'll see how many that volunteered get out. Don't confuse signing up for this as wanting to do it. Most everone that wasn't trying to protect their job (which I see nothing wrong with) signed up to get in a certain department or certain shift. I do feel that This Imt program should have been strictly volunteer anyway because to this date it has never been run like a true IMT program is supose to. They should have just allowed anyone that was in trouble of getting laid off go into it. If this new IMT program passes and trades don't have to run machines and someday you are back doing your trade then feel lucky that there are alot of us out there not just thinking of ourselves. I really don't care if you think I post all this or not it really doesn't matter to me. As far as Bob King goes , he is a tradesman so do you really think he wants to cut the trades out? The phrase IMT can be meant many different ways . Our local just took it too far that's all.
  22. Then you guys should take your committeeman out back and whip their ass! They are there to represent you not do what they feel like doing!!
  23. Area overtime ? We already do that. Our local went alot further then that with our proposed IMT program and we voted it down. Just area overtime wouldn't be so bad. But departmental seniority and not being able to exercise your seniority plant wide is one thing we didn't like.
  24. Which plant is doing the area overtime and not the IMTs
