OK, let me see if for some reason beyond my control if I can jog a few memories. 1. Scott was an elected committeeperson before he was elected onto the Bargaining team. As a committeeperson our Chairman was Stewart. Scott was/is still part of Abells boys. Hard for you to believe I know but the truth hurts. 2. Our last chairman was Stewart. But let us look at his Bargaining team, John Timbers, Joe Spalding and John Klefot. DAMN three more Abell boys. Remember our last local contract. If all you can remember is the speed bump and stamp machine you do indeed my friend have a feeble mind. The contract was bad they had to bring it to us three times before it got voted in. The only reason it was voted in was because they used some Temps to get it passed, about like they did to pass the C.O.A. Joe Spalding told me that they were not going to go back to the Bargaining table but instead they were going to keep useing the same old contract til it passed because they wanted Mike Stewart to look bad. POOF IT WORKED. 3. The last committeepaerson election you said 7 new committtee people. True I can not dispute,or can I. almost everyone of those new committee people are Abells boys. But hey I am fair we did get rid of Fluffy. 4. Can you honestly say Stewart sucked as a Building Chairman because he did not know what he was doing or he sucked because Abell's boys set him up? I sometimes wonder that myself. I like you was not happy with the last group of people we had in there as our representives. Nor am I happy with this group either. If you or I really want some changes then we must get rid of everyone in there now which includes electing a new Building Chair, Bargaining team and new Committeepeople. Make some changes to the local union appointees (international reps. we are stuck with). Maybe change our by-laws that they only serve two terms no more family memebers getting special privilages over the memembership. And like Bartles and James I thank you for your support.

scott eskridge is the best choice for new bldg chairman. allen hughes is full of shit just like the abell team Hmm, let us try to remember that Scott Eskridge IS ONE OF ABELL'S BOY'S. Question is, is he the best one for the Building Chairman's position? I honestly do not kow. The past few month's should give us a indication of what he is capable of (or the lack of). Since this past summer when Mike was up north, Scott was the man in charge. Now under TEAM ABELL ( Scott in charge as of now), The membership has heard little if anything about what is going on in the plant. When you ask a Committeeperson a question they either get defensive, pretend like everything is OK, feed you a line of sh*t or they have no idea what is happening. Me personaly I want answers I want the truth even if the truth hurts. I do not want to be run around the flag pole chasing my ass hopeing to hear what I want to hear. Every committeeperson we have now do not care about what happens to us as long as we are dumb enough to keep putting them back in. It is not their bodies that go home hurting everyday.

Did Bush lie? Did Clinton lie? Hmm, they are both Politians right. As a born Republican and a registered Democrat I like to vote for the person whom I think will represent this great country with ALL of our citizen's in mind. Let's face it folk's none of them ever do that. Bush lied yes of course he did. I am only useing Bush first because B come's before C. He has lied about the reason's to go into Iraq and even if he didn't lie, once he found out the truth he started lying then. Remember they went there to get the Weapons of Mass Destruction, then he stated they are there to topple Saddam Hussien and last but not least they are there for the Iraqi people to do a Regime change. Bush has lied about his Military service (which he never completed). Bush is into OIL before his Appointed/Elected position of President (whichever you choose). Our gas prices went up in the summer of 1999 to around a $1.50 a gallon, then it went down that same summer to about $1.00 a gallon. Then in the summer of 2000 just a day or two after he got the Republican Nomination for the party gas started going up and HAS NOT went down. Thus helping create the problem the country is in now. Clinton lied under oath about Lewinsky. Why did he lie? To protect his family from public humiliation, you would do the same thing. It doesn't make it any better but maybe some people forgot as to why he lied. Clinton tried to go after Bin Laden, but Ken Starr was going after Clinton at this time and people was saying things such as " wag the tail". Remember the movie, The president started a war to take the heat off of him. Yes, Clinton dodged the draft and he has always stated how he felt about war and as far as I can remember he hasn't changed his mind on that. Yes, gas was cheaper under Clinton because he had no reason to have it any higher. Also under Clinto the famous DOT COM was born. People lost money when it busted, but people also lost money (among other things) when ERON went in the tank ( glad to see ERON is still around). Bottom line people, we need to put someone in the Whitehouse, Senate and House that are there to represent the people not lobbyist or big business. Until then we will still be in the same boat we are in now. I say down to the future Stimulase package now being proposed and instead of giving us money do something about the gas prices. That would stimulate the economy a lot faster than $300.00 or $600.00 .

I bought a 2007 LX SPORT. I was just wondering what a HPP is. I know what a P71 is. My car has the true dual exhast with the H pipe. I did however add a set of flowmaster mufflers. It sounds real sweet when I press the gas pedal. Since I bought a black one I had the windows tinted real dark and most everyone who see's it, thinks it is a Marauder. Most police angeny's notice real fast that it is a VIC. I put a set of custom wheels on it too. I had one officer tell me he will steal my wheels for his car.

Bottom line. They just need to bring back the VIC for the GENERAL public. Add a smaller engine, V-8 wouldd be an option. I have a 2007 LX SPORT that all the local law enforcement people would love to have. It dosen't take a whole lot to upgrade what you drive.

Folks this is my first post on here. So be gentle with me. I would like to get back to the one question that was asked so long ago, " What would it take for you to leave? ". I am too young to leave and too old to go anywhere else, yet I feel young enough to make a new start on life with the right buy-out package. I have less than 15 years in and more than 10. For the people in my senority range it will take a larger amount of money for us to go. We more-than-likely will get no future retirement or healthcare, so money is our only option unless you count the education package. I understand how all the 20 plus year people feel more so the one's with the break in service. You people should get something for your trouble. A better healthcare package at best. Greatest is to get all your lost time back. We are all in this together though. As I see it we can sit at our computer's all day long and bitch to each other as to who deserves what or we can use that same time to send E-MAILS to our local and international Union Reps to broker a better buy-out deal. Calling each other names and saying which plant or which type of employee is better is nothing more than keeping the bigwigs in Detroit amused. UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL
