NORM IS BY FAR ONE OF THE BEST TOOLMAKERS I HAVE SEEN. I WOULDNT MIND SEEING HIM GET INVOLVED BUT I BELIEVE THAT ANYONE RUNNING FOR PLANT COMMITTEE SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST BEEN A COMMITTEE MAN BEFORE. HOW CAN THE PLANT COMMITTEE BE A RELIABLE RESOURCE FOR THE COMMITTEE MAN IF HE HAS NEVER DONE THEIR JOB? HE WOULD BE MY SECOND CHOICE THOUGH.

Lance Adams has been involved for a long time.As far as the other names in that list they are all good people.Local 2280 needs to put hard working people in key positions.But we cant talk down on someone who would like to put their name in the hat!

Wow! your mad,But if you could read and you didnt just start looking on this forum today you would know that Steve Morris stated several times that he may not even run for committeeman agian let alone a harder job like plant committee.As far as Robb Miller he was a good committeeman and he will be back. Now go back to doing nothing and it will be ok!

Old jimbo is in a jam! He appointed someone with no Union background or very little and now he is feeling the heat..He should have kept the guy with 14 years on the job and did not.I do not know everthing that is involved with the ESSP job but Im sure he bypassed some good people to get to Cals kid...

Im sure International will not just let him appoint anyone to the jobs that are open. If they start giving people that do not know what they are doing in these jobs then we are just as bad as the company!!

I do not think he is forced to work 12hrs 7 days.And chances are the news got him shopping or doing something outside of work and do their(the news)best to make it look bad..Anyway you look at it they will try and make the guy look like shit.But it is not about him its about the uaw as a group not 1 person. 2 years ago we could have all been on the news!

I have been to 4 plants and I agree Jeff is one of the best Presidents I have seen. He cut his wages by 50% when no other local President would do that. He is honest and seems to know alot about what is going on. I don't see anyone else at our plant who can even touch him in the knowledge dept. He is elected as a national negotiator by several other ford plants.
I dont have frank as a committeman. I have been lucky, everytime Neil or Dave redistricted him he did'nt land in my area.. Whew!
How many times can you redistrict for a guy to save his ass? I heard they redistricted again to save his ass.. Shame on you Kenn!
Lupo should be a committeman...
