what are you talking about?

Does anybody really believe the promises ford and the UAW made us in the contract. How in the world do you promise 5 assembly plants new products and Flex Body Shops when we can't even run at full capacity (79%) now. Good luck everybody, but this was a bunch of crap from the get go. By the way, how many new products has the U.S. got in the last 3-5 yrs. anyway? Adios, Amigos. Hope we make it. God bless us and our families. I've finally run out of optimism.

The new contract says you get 2 transfer opportunities. If you decline the second offer, you immediately are put on inactive status. This means no money, no benefits. Who wants to chase Ford around the country? In short, thats my question; am I reading this right?

I've asked 20 people and gotten 20 different answers. Are we still entitled to 48 weeks? 2 phone calls and out the door is what it seems to me. I haven't even bothered to ask the union, why bother at this point, I think we know more than them. Appreciate the help if anyone knows.

I learned my lesson the first two ice storms. I'm staying home. Sooner or later you have to look out for yourself.
