  1. I would suggest that you immediately contact Ford Customer Service and open a complaint file. Once done, Ford will contact the Dealership and they will be required to respond. Do NOT take delivery of the vehicle until the pricing issue is resolved. Otherwise Ford will be out of the situation and you'll be fighting endlessly with the Dealership trying to get them to reimburse you for the difference. The more documentation you have the better to support your case. You mentioned a signed contract. Does the sales agreement you have include the vehicle specifications and pricing and is it signed by both parties? Do you have a copy of the original DORA (Dealer Order Receipt Acknowledgement) showing when the order was placed and the order details showing that it was placed as a retail order with your name?

Question, Is a Vehicle Order Confirmation sheet as good as a dora. It does have my name on it and the x-plan price at the time of my order. But to me it looks like they could print this sheet and not order the vehicle at that time? I ordered my FEHL on may 3 and still not a thing....no allocation to date. Also is x-plan prices also protected? Will dealers give you a dora if requested. Yes, starting get a little uneasy here. Too many stock vehicles showing up on dealers lots. How about the customer Ford!

  2. I placed an order on 3May for a loaded FEHL, and todate the dealer knows nothing on my order. I'm from New Jersey also and it does sounds like we do have a problem just getting in line. I did order under the x-plan that could be factor also. I guess the next step is to start making calls to ford. If anyone has some names and phone numbers it sure would be a big help at this point. EMAIL me using this site. Thanks for any help.

  3. Hello Ed. :D I have found several Dealers in my area willing to accept X-Plan on an Escape Hybrid order. This particular Dealership is in the area of Parkway exit 131. Problem is when it may ever come in.

A second Dealership (Pkwy exit 137) has an Ice Blue Hybrid due in any day and will take an X-Plan on it on a first come first serve basis. As far as orders, they will order one, but have no idea if/when it may ever come in.

A third Dealership will take the order but said "in all honesty we have no idea if or when it will ever be produced, they are so hard to come by."

Fourth Dealership in my area will not accept X-Plan on a Hybrid.

Essentially, according to the Sales Managers I spoke to, 80% of production is going to California and New York City (for taxi's in NY). The rest of the country has to make do with the remaining 20% of production. They will be very hard to come by.

Anyway, if any of the above scenarios interest you, let me know. Then I can give you the Dealership names, phone #'s and the name of the Salesperson to ask for. You can then speak to them about details. I am also willing to help in any way I can.

    Good luck. :beerchug:

    Hey Beerchug,

Much appreciate the help, Iam at a dead end here. I hear the same also. But at lease the dealers you mention will try to summit a order. I would like to talk to them. If you could email me some names and numbers, that would be just great. Went to exit 109 to buy a nissan truck some years ago. So travel is not out of the question.

    Again Thanks

    ED
