While "brothers and sisters are losing there jobs and MTP people are picking their bones. Give everyone respect and MTP people don't gloat over WAP people losing their jobs and don't stand around and talkg and brag about how you are going to take their jobs as it stands now dayshift is MTP and nights are Wayne Assy.Soon Wayne Assy will be all Michigan Truck.
I thought you came from MTP. No one wants people to lose their jobs, but seniority has to rule.

I know the pay is different at WAP to MTP. Don't mean to be nosey but got to get my head around our budget. Around about how much is made an hour at WAP?

Compared to DTP, WAP is one big country club. And I'm a member.

Yep, when I transfered in 2 yrs ago I worked on chassis line 4 for a year (I know ya'll don't want to hear this) but it would take 2 of DTP jobs to make one at NAP so I thought it was gravey!

Latest "RUMOR" at DTP is that C-crew has been suspended and that we will be on full 5-10's when we come back from Christmas break. Who knows?

Since the meetings with congress it seems that a plan must be submitted to congress to show how the big three plan to recover. There is much speculation that ford is going to ask to reopen the contract and ask us for a wage reduction. this is not acceptable. If the company wants to save and try to force wage cuts then show us by example. All executives starting at the top and working down take the same percentage cut they are going to propose we take lead by example!!!!! If they wont do that then i say we dont even discuss opening the contract.
No wage cuts, we are good where we are at.
