  4. Heard a rumor the other day that we are finally getting a plant manager in the next couple of weeks. Maybe new work comin ? Sometimes new manager = new work. Any one heard anything related .

Rumor has it Joe C. is the new plant manager!!

They will pay him in food.

  5. Witnesses???? Just what could anybody witness?

I'm thinking somebody must have seen the 3 card monte scam pulled on Ron and Bob by the COMPANY and the ensuing crocodile tears shed for the whole PR effect while NOONE seems to have seen the reverse pick pocket play that will make this all go away in the company's favor soon.

  6. Kinda like I don't understand why you have to come on here and be an ass! A simple "here's the link for info" would've sufficed.

It's that inherent arrogance borne of the iuaw.

You know, give 'em your cell number, your e-mail address and access to your facebook account; may as well let them set up shop in your underwear drawer.

  7. I do not care what the company makes. It could be a trillion for all I care. I feel that the contract that they offered me for my knowledge, skills and risks are more than adequate. I know that I am getting better than the going rate for a prodution laborer and I am very content with the deal. No wonder the general buying public hates the UAW workers. It is not only because they think that we are overpayed for our skill level but because they think that we think that we deserve more. The majority has spoken( is) and just like in the movies the good ones almost always beat the bad ones. I guess maybe it is just the way some people are raised. I feel sorry for people that do not have the capacity to see the truth or that lack the ability to admit to it because of their foolish pride. Luckily more people are wise then not. Please stop crying no one likes a poor sport. The NO voters lost(well it is looking that way right now) but won at the same time thanks to the ones that know better. Now go and fail to get your way with something else. You should be used to it so do not get so angry when you don't get your selfish way. It may be a rare thing for you but "have a nice day".

    Wipe your chin off, Dude.

  8. Well, the no vote at MAP has put Ford management on alert. We had another emergency meeting today. My manager talked about how the vote was close and probably didn't mean much of anything. They were in contact with salaried workers at the plant who said it was a local political issue.

Yet, it seems upper management at Ford is taking it very seriously. We were told once again to be ready to head to the plants that we did the last vehicle launch. In case the contract continues to be voted down, we need to be ready to go. I have been given the assignment to begin contacting suppliers who also helped on the launch. I think Ford plans on bringing them in also to help continue making product if the vote goes down.

One of my co-workers said that if the contract is voted down, don't the Company and union go back to the table and continue negotiating? My manager said that was possible, but not probable. The company has other options, we were told and don't have to go back to the table.

What I got from it was the Company can go back to the table, the union can go on strike or the Company can lock the union out. I know the Company has already been in contact with MADI corp http://www.madicorp....cement-workers/ to replace current workers.

My manager said union workers believe the Company will go back to the table, but on the other hand the Company has two options to bring in replacement workers—if the union goes out on strike or if the Company locks the union out. It was floated that since Republicans run both the governments of Michigan and Ohio that those two states may be targeted for replacement workers. They don't seem to be worried about angry strikers due to the public being against union workers who turn down a very good agreement and the Company PR staff has already been putting out information on the contract.

    Here we go again.

Just another full of shit troll fuck.

  9. I have posted in the past and am interested in joining a union. Many of you have helped and I have contacted the parties I was told about. I was told it would be a long process if it ever happened. That being said, I think you should know what is going on in my world, the salaried world, behind the scenes regarding this agreement.

I have been reading your interesting tete-a-tetes about your tentative agreement. I'm not hourly. But, for all you hourly workers out there, I think you should know something, Ford is getting prepared for a strike.

How do I know about this? I was in an impromptu meeting today called by my manager. Some salaried employees who have been on plant launches for builds have been contacted. We were told by the end of next week, all of them will have been contacted. There were about 20 salaried employees in this meeting today. The company is very worried the agreement will be voted down and there will be a strike.

I don't know how a strike works, if it's one plant or everybody, but Ford is getting prepared. Let me just say that the meeting today wasn't a "touchy feely" get together about our past plant experiences. It was about which plants we would be sent to if there was a strike. Of course this created a lot of concern. I don't want to go where there will be very angry union members out on strike. We were told, "don't worry about it—we have you covered". I didn't know what that meant, so I did some more digging and found out that Ford has been in contact with a company called MADI Corp.—a strike breaking company. Here are links to them--

    http://www.madicorp....cement-workers/

I contacted my buddies who are at different plants and they told me they were approached by management and they will have an important meeting soon.

My manager told me that Ford cannot stop production and the union members will look very bad to the public. Ford will look great standing up to the union and will have public support.

Good luck in whatever you decide.

You are so full of shit your eyes are brown.

  10. you had that low of expectations for our negotiation team? I guess i'm the asshole because i believe they were better than this shit. That they choose not to get a better bonus as part of pattern bargaining, which is bullshit.

Isn't that bullshit that they could have gotten us all this and more but didn't want to.

Are you sayin' the more that we get the less that they get? Cuz I think that's what you're sayin'.
