  2. yeah i agree hard time. i did transfer in and lima is great place to work, not perfect but hey, i do enjoy going in to work, and i did like weaver too, always did the 'right' thing. havent seen the local yet, but i do like the national.

Yeah I liked Weaver too good heart and integrity, had a lot to do with us getting the nano line. Better than the low class group running the local now. Glad you guys got superjake to shut up.

  3. I am saying the IUAW lead the charge on gay, transgendered, black, Hispanic womens rights and equal pay except for tier 2 employees. Ford just wants people to put their cars together they don't care if they are Chinese, Mexican, African, Polish or Russian they will let anyone put that shit together. Hell they would put a plant on Mars if they could get the Martians to do it cheaper and transport them back on the space shuttle.

  4. Well the scoop from IUAW is that stinkydink was meddling in Skilled Trades work assignments try to get all the work for his two favorite trades MR, MW and only including those two trades in the area work groups. All others would work out of central on a as needed basis. Looking like IUAW told Hinkledink to Quit meddling in Skilled trades affairs that he is not Skilled and doesn't know what he is doing. They also sent back a 100-plus grievances and told him to "Quit filing ridiculous unwinnable grievances and that it waters down the grievance system for legitimate grievances". Needless to say the grievances from Lima engine plant hardly get a look now thanks stinkydinks game playing. It looks like they don't want him on the IUAW staff either so guess what we are stuck with his incompetence. So remember that at election time if you want 3 more years of drama here in Lima.

  5. Is your guy the same Hinkle from the former Sandusky Ford Plant ?

He got in some hot water at a local car wash near the plant......with a woman salary employee from HR.

She was terminated and I think he went to Lima afterwards.

If its the same guy close your local car washes and you should be OK.

Yeah tell us the whole story on this phoney liar.
  6. O the buttons were a great idea. If they can't talk about negotiations why the buttons? Not to mention as they are telling us to wear them at the union meeting, not one of the leadership is wearing one. What a group of idiots.

Yeah the buttons were a nice touch. I personally liked the handmade paper ones that they made on a copy machine for peon appreciation day at the plant. I think that the Bargaining Committee is currently working hard to get Hinkydinks sons job back. They are also trying to get Jared from subway transferred to Lima Engine Plant.

  7. It is about the dues!! IUAW is big business it's all about the Benjamins (MONEY). Guess you never been to a constitutional convention or any of the big Vegas shindigs. M-O-N-E-Y make sure you go to one before you retire. Live the lifestyle of the rich and famous for a week.

  8. Anytime the company can move or place work for reduced cost or simple work rules they usually take the path of least resistance and cost.

Lima adopted work rules ( agreements ) in the past putting the wiener to Cleveland Engine so they "whip sawed" some work from a sister plant.

    So much for "solidarity", lol.

Wow there is actually someone still working here that actually knows the facts of how Lima got the Vulcan engine program. Kinda funny because none of the idiots in the local union now have any idea of the history of this plant or of the UAW. They just make up their own stories.
  9. The proposed co-op is not a veba. It apparently includes all employees hourly and salary, the large number is where the savings really are............. I believe the IUAW is proactively positioning us to save on the rising cost of healthcare, same benefits we currently have, keep our good wages including raises and generate more product investments is our US plants.

This is our only path to continued job security in America

the only thing they are positioning for is union dues after right to work. Not some noble cause to help the working man

  10. It doesn't include salaried employees! They want to run health care so you won't opt out of the union if you are in a right to work state. Plus they will have another big pot of money to control and get kick backs from. It's simple the company wants rid of legacy cost and the union Wants members to pay dues. Make health insurance a union benefit instead of a company benefit. Pay attention.

  11. Impossible to be unemployed with the union around...

Yeah you must be a new hire. Wait till after the presidential election. The auto industry is cyclical it will happen and you better hope your not laid-off longer than you have worked for Ford. Because by the time it's your turn to come back there will be another batch of preferential uaw placements that will get hired before you get called back.
  12. Hinkle is a idiot out for himself like Dumbbell the president and the rest of the committee. They have nothing to offer but gloom and doom. They get nothing done around our plant and are basically laughing stocks. Why the membership won't elect people that are the best of the best in this plant is beyond me. They voted for big talkers of bullshit they got it enjoy being on 4 crew you idiots.

  13. Super duper allaround what cleaner? Your one of those want to be Skilled Trades guys so you can ride around on a buggy with a coffee all day. At least you would have to come to work every day.

  14. It looks like Mr. STINKLE has burnt all his bridges with the rest of his hand picked group. Looks like no local contract again. I thought this Clown was supposed to be experienced and know what he was doing. No wonder they closed Sandusky.

  15. The Cadillac Tax has that name for a reason. The deal was cut with the UAW for Obama to get the UAW and it's membership to support Obama over Hillary Clinton in the primaries before the presidential election. With Michigan the auto hub of the United States auto industry going Right to Work they cut a deal to keep the membership paying dues in Union shops till the end of this contract basically delaying the right to work laws till after these negotiations. They realized that they had to have something to make the membership want to pay union dues. Now the UAW was exempted from the Cadillac tax till 2018 at which time Obama will be out of office and would give the UAW time to negotiate themselves into the health care insurance and pension business and using the auto maker's desire to rid themselves of Legacy Cost to not only be your sole Bargaining Agent but also the entity that you will buy your health insurance from and administration of your pension. Once they control these two items you will have to be a member to get these benefits through the union. Like Teamsters, IBEW, pipe fitters union, laborers union. Then Beck law will not apply to these items because are now union benefits and not company provided benefits. This is where they will subsidize the health insurance premiums to make it cheaper for you to buy your insurance through the UAW than in the health care exchanges only if you are a member of the UAW. That's why it was named the Cadillac tax because of the deal struck between the Obama administration and the UAW to get around right to work laws. Now when they go to organize other Automakers in the south they have something to offer besides a strike fund lower cost insurance and a pension when you join their union. This is a very risky endeavor that funding wise if not done properly will end up like social security underfunded and constantly changing. Just my 2 cents. Think about it. It makes perfect sense.

    wow wtf
