  1. 2012 would mean 8 years since an all new model. I don't care what year the new model comes. I am just looking for info from someone who really knows.

Please note that the article was posted in the spring of 2008, it was only a guess back then and meaningless now.

  2. Ordered my Ford Flex LTD EB three days after Christmas. I have the Vin # now and would appreciate it if someone could track it for me: 2FMHK6DT1ABB10099

    Thank you in advance.

    Here is your Window Sticker

I rec'd my LTD EB last week after a 5 month wait, it's awesome.

I parked behind a Range Rover Sport the other day, there was a group of people saying how 'cool' my Flex is, not even noticing the Range Rover parked in front.

I wish the Range Rover owner was there, I would have loved to see his reaction.

Enjoy your flex when you get it!

  3. This is what I know about those vehicles

    MKT 2LMHJ5AT2ABJ17021

    FLEX 2FMHK6DT4ABA77051

    FLEX LTD EB 2FMHK6DT5ABA73879

The PTU's were replaced on all these vehicles and still at the plant .

    To Topgun or anyone else:

Could you confirm or find out when my FLEX LTD EB (2FMHK6DT5ABA73879) is released and shipped? Then it takes at least 3 weeks by train to reach Vancouver. Ford & my dealer are unable or are unwilling to help!

    Thank you in advance!

Thanks for the update Topgun. (FLEX LTD EB 2FMHK6DT5ABA73879)

I called Ford CS today and they were of no help again! They put me on hold, then called my dealer which has no information, once again deferring the issue back and forth between ford and the dealer. I starting to think that Ford's CS department's actual abbreviation meaning is for something totally different!!! Why can't Ford just tell me when my vehicle ships or with some accuracy give me a delivery date? :banghead::banghead::banghead:

  5. On 12/21/2009 after realizing that trying to get an intelligent answer out of Ford Customer Support is a total waste of time,

I insisted that they raise my inquiry about where my 2010 Fiex is and when will I receive it, to the higher level of support.

BTW my Flex was built on 12/2/2009.

Today 12/22/2009 I received a call from a guy from the Problem Resolution Center (I think). He told me that he had researched

my problem and that my Flex was delayed (NO XXXX well you know). He could not tell me where it was, why it is delayed,

when it would be shipped or even if the Oakville Plant is open or not (I think this guy should be working at the customer support center

or at New York State DMV). I asked him to please put a supervisor on the line, which he did. I explained the situation to her and she

took my info and said she will research the issue and get back to me. About four hours later she called me back and said that my Flex

was sitting at the Oakville Plant ready to ship. But that Ford had put a stop shipping order on all vehicles out of the Oakville Plant.

When I asked her why they were not shipping she said it was for a "non-disclosed proprietary reason".

Thanks for the update! Is that the case with all Flex/MKT models are just the Ecoboosted models? Let me guess, Ford didn't suggest when they might start shipping vehicles again. I already know the answer! :censored:

  6. Mine was build on the 24 of nov. My dealer called me on Thursday and said my car won't arrive until Jan at a minimum.

    Really is super frustrating

Thanks for the update mrmike, did your dealer have any explaination or reason for the delay? Did you opt for the remote start? I heard that ford is having trouble with the outside upfitter that are doing the remote start install. :tequila: :tequila:

    Thanks again, Al

  7. FYI...

Your Flex is likely being held up like mine due to the CN Rail strike. The strike has been over for several days, however there is a backlog now at Oakville. My MKT has been sitting at the rail depot since the 7th.

Thanks for the update but the strike has been over since Dec 2nd. My Flex was born on Nov. 25th, it's funny that you can track an envelope but not a $50,000 vehicle!

  8. I eagerely wait for the delivery of my 2010 Ford Flex Limited EB, Cinnamon with white roof, all options minus the DVD headrests.

I would like to know the estimated ship date or any other status on my 2010 Ford Flex which I ordered Sep 8th!

The VIN is 2FMHK6DT5ABA73879, my dealer can't seem to find out any info.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. :headscratch:

  9. I eagerely (loosing patience) wait for the delivery of my 2010 Ford Flex Limited EB, Cinnamon with white roof, all options minus the DVD headrests.

I would like to know the estimated ship date or any other status on my 2010 Ford Flex which I ordered Sep 8th! (assembled Nov. 25th)

The VIN is 2FMHK6DT5ABA73879, my dealer can't seem to find out any info.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The Dealer refers me to Ford and Ford refers me to the Dealer. Does anyone know how to track the shipment or how to check if my vehicle has even shipped yet!

    Anyone?
