  1. A person with an occupational restriction from medical could be just about anything depending on what their injury is and the extent of it ... i.e. limited use of an arm or hand, weight limits on how much they should lift , no bending or twisting, etc. Once a person has one of these restrictions in place the complany automatically places a 40 hour restriction on them as well so they are not eligible for overtime. A person with a personal restriction most likely will be found as "no work available" so that working will not aggravate a non-work condition and prevent it from becoming occupational.

  2. I was wondering with all of the buyouts and retirement packages, why are we not seeing postings at the HVC centers. Can the employees at these sites let me know if they are using temps or second tier.

No temps or second tier at National PDC. Still all traditional workers. Not sure about the HVC's.

  5. Team leaders at DTP are dirt bag rats.

I personally know a union committee person that attended a team leader meeting back in Jan around the 20th and he said they were all told to let management know who on the lines was causing problems or not pulling their weight or working so they can take care of it. They were all laughing in the meeting and joking about people getting the boot.

These people are willing to turn in a union brother/sister for a few more duckets is a shame. The union has admitted to me several times to my face that the team leader program is a real problem and should be done away with.

I remember at SRP we had line setup people and they were in charge of starting up the line, tooling and letting the supervisor know who is absent that's it. Now you got team leaders trying to place people on jobs that people don't feel they should do or they are rating workers out to make themselves look like suck asses.

Team leaders or setups, should have a minimum amount of responsibility and NO POWER.... These fuck twats are getting workers time off because they are a mouth piece for managers/supervisors acting like witnesses for disciplinary purposes to benefit management.

It's hard to take anything seriously from someone who can't even spell their make of vehicle correctly. C'mon!

  6. I may have left a manufacturing location off the poll so if I missed your location please post and I will add it in.

The following locations were left off of the product investment poll because they received the Billions of dollars of investments from the 2007 product commitments and they most likely will be hiring more people because of the investments in 2007. Not to take away the importance they may need some future work but the locations in the poll are in need of commitments for the future and ultimate job security of thousands of our Brothers and Sisters.

    How about Rawsonville?

  7. just go to computer at work set up for paystub and click on icon that says renew change password and it takes about 2 seconds to change it,even if it has expired..

mine had expired and had been expired for more than 7 seven days and i changed it without calling anyone.....

The General's got it right ... just use the "Change My Password" link on the left hand side of the black login page you get when you click on Internet Explorer. Enter your CDSID and it will ask you for your password ..... which would be your first and last initials and your last four of your SSN if you haven't previously changed it. You may have to set up a 6 digit pin and/or a challenge question. Everybody I tried to help so far had no luck with this password on the Paystub site and had to reset it this way. The good thing is that it will update all your passwords at once ... Outlook, CMMS, etc.

  8. Rawsonville is getting some battery work.

Heard that it should be around 100 jobs or so. Not as good as I had originally hoped but with all the open real estate in the plant something is better than nothing. Keep those jobs coming!

  9. Thanks for the info CD4EMAN! Total crap that a so-called American company would pull something like this. I never liked Applebees's and now I can justify it even further. God Bless to those that support American companies and American products.
