Now just what is the difference between the 5.4L from 2011 and the 5.8L for the 2013 Shelby GT500?
I mean besides .4 liters.
Thank you for informing and educating me.

No door handles would be fine for me I love the clean look of shaved door handles. push the key fob or walk close enough (if proximity sensor used ) and the door opens enough to open it.
I for one wish it would be offered just as is.

For the 2011 F150 platinum I picked up it will cost 800 - 1000 to get a conversion for HID lights that look professional and will not blind every one.
Would I have paid the difference when I bought the truck from Ford, YES throw the added cost into financing and it is cheap.
Come on this is a no brainer FORD.

I don't carry a spare in my mustang that's what the auto club is for.
I find it interesting that they give you a can of fix a flat, my 2011 F150 manual states that fix a flat will ruin the TPS sensor in the wheel.
I wonder if they use a special type of chemicals in the Ford type.

Seeing as how they paint the body before everything goes in my guess would be no way

At least in my area there are Black platinum's just sitting on the lot loaded. Do a lot search.
I wanted and got Candy Red

Yep, he said he did search and found several, but none had the max tow. Maybe I didnt need it, but I wanted it. I drove one with a 3.55 and it seemed pretty tall.
Anyway, the candy red is sure nice lookin. After 3 white Fords in a row, I am ready for something different.
Candy red is the best color, as long as they let you order it you should be OK.

Can anyone tell me on the 2011 F150 headlights when you turn on the highbeams do the lowbeams stay on as well? If not, is there aftermarket fix or a way to wire them so they will stay on together? Was able to do this on my Silverado and what a difference.
Well seeing as how your current vehicle is a Chevy HD should be the same.

What did you end up ordering? I went ahead with the Lariat. Tuxedo black with black interior/flow through console. Almost got the Platinum, but just could not get used to that silver/chrome piece across the tailgate. The interior of the Platinum is sweet though. Add in the retractable running boards, and now I'm second guessing myself again, lol.
Platinum, Candy red Metallic,3.5l Ecoboost 4X4, Black interior, Super crew, 5.5' bed, loaded

That's the one thing I don't like about the new trucks especially with the tailgate handle it doesn't look as easy to shave off the tailgate handle.
-
Dislike that's why I didn't order a Lariat.
-
I am glad my truck has a build date of 3/30/2011 Candy red metallic. :shades:

Ordered my truck 3/12, dealer emailed me today that "they are scheduling some trucks tomorrow, will let me know if mine is one of them."
Does anyone know if this is scheduled for production, or a bunch of dealer orders are submitted and some are accepted ( the dealer allocation?).
Thanks.
