  1. I've really got no idea. Drove it 4 miles home from the dealer last night. Wife got wheels on it this morning. Drove it tonight in the couple inches of snow we got this evening. Do you have to tell the car somehow of the change? The diameter of the overall setup is very close to the stock setup.

  2. Wife picked out Fuel D602 20" with Blizzaks. Bought them on Black Friday for $1500, plus some mail in rebates. She is supposed to get them on in a couple hours. Hope she likes the murdered out look.

  3. I am looking to put winter wheels and tires right on my truck when I get it. Anyone know what the wheel specs (lug pattern, offset, tire sizes) need to be for a 4x4 platinum with tow package? Probably will get 18" and leave the 22s for summer.

  4. Based on my experience with my Raptor, dealers, managers, fields reps, etc. have no fricking clue about anything until the vehicle actually shows up on the truck. I don't understand why a "tracking" number isn't just given to each order like UPS and we can click and track to our hearts content on a website that gives these "OK to sell" etc. definitions right with your tracking so you have an idea what is going on, but that would be too easy. I am not even bothering talking to my dealer or ford this time, waste of heart ache, it shows up when it shows up.

  5. I don't know if that is totally necessary, but I understand. I only had one other problem with my truck that was early build connected, driveshaft, and that was taken care of immediately. I have had it ever since with no trouble. The frustration was having an early order then watching others jump you. I was very impatient when I got that truck, my first new car ever, this time, a couple more weeks doesn't mean anything.

  6. My 2011 raptor screw sat in Detroit for at least a month after it's build waiting for a replacement something before it shipped. Mine was built early and others across the country received theirs before me being only 2 hours from the factory. If that happens, you do not want to be an early build.

  7. They put the configurator online yesterday. Placed my order, they extended A plan to aunt, uncle, niece, nephew... so I am getting A-plan loaded, less rear seat entertainment and buckets, Limited. Couldn't stomach putting premium in the Platinum for $15 or more extra every fillup.

  8. It's disappointing the FX4 package is only available on the XLT, and not the Limited. Some people like a little nicer vehicle that has some off-road capabilities.

Seriously, I would consider trading in my 2011 Raptor as it looks to have held it's value very well compared to my wife's 2011 Explorer that is worth about scrap price according to KBB.
