This VIN is for a 2011 MKX I have ordered. My Dealer told me it was scheduled for production last week (week of Sep 6). If you can provide any additional information, I would really appreciate it.

I've never had one of the Key/fob combos, I've had a couple with the separate fob. It does tend to get a bit bulky in the pocket, for sure. I've seen on some of the European cars where the key part folds into the fob, making it nice and compact.
I have had both and I prefer the combo. One item vrs two in the pocket.

It would sure make things easier for the buyer, and you would think for the dealership as well.
Definitely for the buyer and people wouldn't be bugging Cyberdman for updates...

If you look at the interest elsewhere on this forum about tracking, it would seem that such a system would be a great benefit to the buyer. It is exciting to anticipate a new vehicle, but accurate information (or any information) would be nice.

I should bring a camera for those idiots who park next to my Miata. Why do they assume because I drive a small car, they are entitled to usurp my space? They are literally "over the line" often.
I think I will start carrying a card like the last pic. Let people know what I think of their parking habits. (and then run...)

I think it is overall bad manners. Starts with a wife-beater shirt , shorts, and flip flops at nice resturants and goes on to no respect on the road or in the car to anyone in or out of your car. Can we get a cone of "no electronics zone" for cars???

Your Windows sticker can be found here. However, there is no build date on there. The one date that I is for 01 Sep 2010. If it is anything like the Explorer that I bought last year, it won't be built until sometime during the week of 27 Sept.
Now, I don't work for Ford, I just have learned to read the on-line window stickers. So I would say you won't be seeing it until mid to late October.

I think I am the only one on the other forum that requested tracking of a vehicle and never got a single reply. I don't mind getting involved in a forum IF I have something relevant to contribute, but just to add to my reply counter seems counter productive. I have been very excited looking forward to my new MKX and hoped to add to that excitement with a status update, but it is not going to happen apparently. (vin: 2LMDJ8JK7BBJ03835) I guess I am destined to wait for the salesman to call me.

It was delivered to the dealer today and I pick it up at noon tomorrow.
