Hi,
I was wondering if you could check on the status of my 2011 Ford Escape Limited. My VIN is:
1FMCU9E71BKA58651
Thanks a lot for your help, it's much appreciated!

I've never had one of the Key/fob combos, I've had a couple with the separate fob. It does tend to get a bit bulky in the pocket, for sure. I've seen on some of the European cars where the key part folds into the fob, making it nice and compact.

Yeah, I can't see how this would be terribly difficult, either. The entire plant system is computerized, and and it registers in the system when a particular part is installed. Don't know why a dumbed down version of this info can't be made available to the consumer.

Kinda seems like a no brainer. Unless the heated mirror option would interfere with it.
-
I think most people just find the center console and individually adjustable seats too convenient/useful for them to justify making a bench version for the small number who would want it. I suspect bucket seats are probably easier to install, as well.
-
Even little slide out extenders would be nice. Especially at the time of day when the sun is shining through the windshield, just above the mirror. Be nice to be able to slide an extender out there.

Start all the threads you like BlackHorse, afterall that is your right. Freedom for any one guarantees freedom for all.
Emphatically agreed.

Yeah, the sculpting is a bit much.

My brother in law works at a Ford plant, and he says there's a surprising amount of this going on. Not a lot of employees, but more than you'd think.
-
Nice work! I'd buy one if I had the money... (and if they made it, hehe)

We own a 2005 Focus ZX5. It's been pretty good to us, and not a bad looking little car. Anyone know why Ford killed off the hatchback version though? Is it just that they didn't want two of them in the lineup?
