Atlanta huh?
I think you might want to check with your dealer again.
Delivered - Final Delivered (Allied Systems Ltd ) F21715 - Ed Murdock Ford Lavonia, GA on Oct-20-2010, 23:32 ET.
It's been there since Wednesday night.
WHAT????
Let me call
-
Still waiting.
The dealership said the car is in Atlanta right now with an eta of 10-26, same eta as last week.
The car has been sitting in Atlanta all week just 80 miles away driving me nuts.

In Transit Passing (Norfolk Southern Corp ) Lindg, GA Oct-18-2010, 07:10 ET.
Thanks again cyberdman
Looks like it should be here sooner than the 10-26 ETA
The dealership is in Lavonia, GA

In the future, repost your VIN in thread bumps, thanks.

No problem
Thanks for the update!

Cyberdman
I promise not to bother you everyday, but I was just wondering if the car has shipped yet.
I appreciate what you do.

I'm not Cyberdman and I don't work for Ford either. However, according to your window sticker, which can be found here, your Mustang was build on 07 Oct 2010. So I would assume that it is just waiting to be loaded up and actually put into shipping.
Hope this helps.
Thanks Harddrive747!
I was hoping it had been built sooner than yesterday but oh well. I ordered it 7 weeks ago yesterday.
Thanks again for the window sticker, everything is as I ordered it.

Hello Cyberdman, I would appreciate it if you could track my 2011 Gt.

It's been about 7 weeks, I figure it's getting close
Thanks!

i had hoped there would be a Cougar off the Mustang, perhaps with the refresh last year. If Mercury is ever going to return it will need a Cougar eventually.
This one is more interesting
-
Just something thrown together... not an official program.
I really like it, reminds me of the sn95 mustang

This is sweeeet! I love the look of this!
This is something I would consider buying, in the last couple of years, I have had a hard time liking the new body styles unfortunately but something is this direction would certainly be something I'd want to own!
I like this one too although I Would like to see it with more of a late 60's fast back roof line. But I like the modern shape of the car, which is the way I think Ford should go in the future.

Again, I'm not sure what you think is "boring".
There is not another car out there that looks anything like it. And the R/T & SRT8 trim packages make the car stick out.
Maybe you should get behind the wheel of one and smoke the tires and tell me if you still think it's boring. Because your options for RWD V8's that do that are limited
The main theme of this thread seems to be looks so that's what I'm referring to by "boring" Give it 600 hp and it will still look boring to me for a car with THAT nameplate. To each his own but I've never seen the point of a family sedan that can smoke the tires.
-
Farewell Ranger.
It's too bad considering how this truck killed everything else in sales 10+ years ago and Ford just let it die.
-
That's the best looking Lambo I've seen in a long time.
The Jag is awesome too but I'm going with the Lambo.
-
WHAT?!?!??! Boring!?!?!?
How can you say this car is "boring"?
There is no other car on the road that looks like it. It has an unmistakable "American" style to it (yes, built in Canada, owned by the Germany's/Italian's). Not an ounce of it looks European/Asian. Has two V8 options that both say HEMI on the side of it.
It's a RWD 4 door saloon that will blow the doors off most cars on the road. Family car during the week, and tire smoker on the weekend.
I wish Ford had something like this.
This car is anything but "boring"
It has RWD, a V8, and an iconic musclecar nameplate but it still looks like a boring 4dr family sedan to me.

I ordered mine 8/17; it came in yesterday. A little over 5 weeks. Not bad.
How did you get yours that quick?
-
The challenger still doesn't do it for me. Not only is it heavy, it LOOKS heavy. They look like a barge coming down the road.
Those cars need the SRT version with 475 HP just to compete with the GT. The R/T is just too underpowered for that kind of weight.
-
Yeah, transition is more flowing, less abrupt than the current model. That is definitely an improvement IMO.
An improvement but still a boring car for the charger name plate. I wonder what the hp numbers are? 380 ish?

It's not stock anymore
Since these pics I've already added staggered black wheels, a chin spoiler, and FRPP suspension parts are on the way.
The car feels faster bone stock than my full bolt on 06 GT was.
It's a better car all around
