Remote start is def dealer installed - I got it.
Door guards? Do you mean the sill plates or something else?
You do any distance testing with the remote starter? Also, how long does the car stay on when you start it remotely?

I guess I'm the only one annoyed I have to give up that much cargo space for a full-sized spare. I've had my current car for 5 years and never had to change a flat. I'm already looking at Ford Parts to see how much it will cost me to swap out the tray/tire/spacer with the mini spare components.

My dealer called today and my SEL is scheduled to be built March 7th....base SEL with 17inch wheels.
Got a date and VIN. First week of March.
I put in my order the first week of November.

I didn't see anything about rebates for any 2012 models on the Ford site a day or two ago, but you might try going to their site and requesting a 2012 Focus brochure. I did that the first of last week and indicated I would be buying within 3 months. Yesterday I received two brochures, one a $1000 private cash offer that can be used with x plan. Two catches, though. It can not be used with the tech rebate, and it expires 3/31. I assume I can decline the tech rebate and use the new one. I already have a car ordered and am a long time Ford customer, so YMMV. Can someone please get production cranked up so my car comes in before the 31st?!!!!

Just got my loan approved by my CU. So now the clock is running, because the loan is good for 60 days. I WANT MY CAR, FORD!

Afternoons built 85 cars off final line last night. Worked 8 hours.

I would assume. That was the listed price for the build I put together on forvdehicles.com.

To those that have ordered a 2012:
Did you pay MSRP or were you able to negotiate a better price?
Is it unreasonable to expect a dealer to go lower than MSRP for a car that is ordered?
The online quote was $28,075. The dealer quote was $26,075.

I'm lazy. Paid the dealership to do mine.
