I've seen it on a different vehicle and it looks nice, but it's dark like kona blue. I did not think it was purple. Go to a Ford dealer and see if they have any other cars that color and check it out. I think I saw it on an Edge.Is it just the pics, but Lava Red seems to be a bit more towards a purple than a burgundy color. I have even read some early comments where people have called this new color "plum".
Do we have any pics, exterior and interior, of a Mustang in Lava Red and Lave Red ?

Check the 2012 GT500 order guide. It will state if you need to delete the stripe package or not.I order a 2012 gt500 with SVTPP and electronic package in white with red stripe and was thinking a about making a change to add a recaro seat . but the dealer said that i would lose the factory red stripes?
anyone heard this or seen pic's of a 2012 recaro with factory exterior stripes??
thanks

I've seen the seats in person and there is no hole for the fifth belt if that's what your asking. FRPP will have the same wheels in black available and there are already shown in the 2011 catalog. Here's a link to the catalog:I have the silver w/the LS package on order. Has anyone looked at the seats up close do they have the slot for the anti sub. belt. I also would like to order another set of painted wheels like the ones that come with the car how do I do that with Ford.

Here's a link to some photos I took of the silver LS.

They have their own order guide and have not been discontinued.Okay...has there been an updated order guide made available yet?
I'm curious to see if the GT 500s are no longer.
Thanks!

It's all over the net, $40,995 for the Boss and $47,990 for the Boss Laguna Seca.Cool. Can I ask how much it was?

They're a bit overdone but you love the orange??? Ok. The decals are removable. BTW I ordered a Kona Blue Boss 302.I agree, I would like them better with out all the stripes..a plain jane would be sweet, I think it is a bit overdone, but that's the way they were back in the day.
That being said, I do love the orange one, out of all of them.

Here's a dose of reality... While I understand your frustration from Ford deleting YOUR favorite color it has nothing to do with Ford losing touch with their customers. The current Mustangs are the best they've ever produced and are truly a world class sports car. You don't get there because you've lost touch with your customer base. Ford's entire lineup is the best they've ever had and the best of any American car company. Ford is clearly focused on the end goal and I applaud them for what they've done over the past decade. And this from a person who hasn't owned a Ford in almost 15 years. But I've got one on order and am thinking of buying another.I'm starting to think that with all the success Ford has had recently, they're losing touch with what customers want? I feel that they're getting arrogant and think that they know better what we want than we do? -
What did you order?Just was looking at your vin, looks like we had identical cars, and were both being produced at the same time, been following yours :-)

Do you have a link on where to order the certificates? From what I was told from John Clor from the Ford Performance Group who's group creates the certificates for Mustang owners, once the model year is built out for the year ford conducts audits of all the cars produced for the year to get the production numbers. This process could take from 6 to 9 months to perform. For my registry the GT/CS Registry the owners of the 2011 GT/CS Mustangs should be able to order the certificates for their cars in the last half of 2011 once the FPG is able to pull the data from the factory.

I think this probably has a lot to do with it. When did they start producing 2011 Mustangs? March 2010? If so they ran them for 10 months.I think they want to use the Boss 302 as a 2012 to push the whole line and maybe get a jump on the z28 coming out ? just a thought

Hideous? Bad A$$ is more like it. To each his own.Well I might not be the typical Mustang buyer but anyone with taste must surely think the design is hideous.. I mean.. even it they perform well I am sure that most people dont want them

I hope everyone has your opinion so dealers don't go crazy with ADM. Anyone know when the first Boss cars will roll off the assembly line?I ordered my Mustang in October and I am fairly happy to see by looking at the specs for 2012 that I didnt miss out on anything. Who wanna drive a Boss anyway ;-)

That looks nice.

I can't believe it's not going to add any HP. Maybe it will and Ford isn't telling anyone.

You'll be fine. The nicer spacers bolt onto existing studs and then have their own studs.Yeah it's about half and half some say go with longer studs some have been running the bolt ons with no issues. I don't race it or do burn outs thanks for the reply.

At least grabber blue is back, it was rumored to have been discontinued.Interesting. There are three shades of red and no gray?
