The grille is a little much for my liking - could just be that there's so many bright horizontal slats, or maybe it's the lower grille being as large as it is (or both)?

 

Yes just something about the lower grill being just not quite right.....unfortunately I'm not nearly talented enough to come up with exactly what it is. But overall, it is a clean sharp look and I like it.

Waiting on the arrival of a new 2011 Edge Limited AWD and I'm curious to know what people are seeing for mileage? Is it possible to attain 23-24 mpg on the freeway cruising at 70-75 mph?

[Get rid of the SecuriCode keypad]

I came in here expecting to post my displeasure with the keypad (I'm waiting on my new Edge to be delivered to the dealer) as I felt it was ugly and unnecessary since I will have the IA key, but now after reading all the posts I can now actually see where it might be useful.

Couple that with a 170 / 180 hp motor that would still manage something along the lines of 27 / 35 mpg and you've got a great package on your hands. Hello? Ford? Or we can just keep offering the Fiesta in it's current mundane snoozer mobile configuration. Your call.

Fellow Minnesotan here......sick of winter and anxiously awaiting our first Ford - an Edge Limited.

[Delay in order of Edge]

Try to be patient folks. I got lucky with mine and was following along with a very helpful dealer who kept me up to date with which vehicles they were getting in and it just so happened the exact vehicle I was planning to order showed up. It'll be worth the wait. I love mine so far!

 

Thought I had the same thing happen.....the exact Edge I was going to order showed up one day in the dealer inventory on the Ford site. Wooo! Lucky me!

 

Went to the dealer and they didn't have the car. Turns out it's supposedly in the shipping process to the dealer. Put down a depost and it's been a week and it is very hard to be patient.
