  1. Seems I'm still one of the unlucky few. Called this afternoon still sitting on ramp 59 for week six!! Ford Customer Service told me today to call back when it has been 12 weeks since I ordered and then they could make an "inquiry".

Awaiting Shipment - Re-Released Ford Dearborn Assembly, MI Feb-27-2011

    ETA March 8

  2. Maybe they've added this and I just haven't seen it yet but I would love a rear power lock switch in my F150 Screw. It's my pet peeve that when I get tools or something out of the back seat I have to open the front door again to lock the vehicle. I know it may sound small but when you're in and out of the truck a dozen times a day it gets to be annoying. And for those who say why not just lock it with the fob when I'm done. I have keyless entry so many times when I'm working on a job site I don't bring my keys with me when I have to run and grab something from the truck. This has annoyed me since my 2005. I was hoping they added it in 2011, if my truck ever shows up.

  3. Ha ha! Join the club.

    Ordered Jan 28th

    Built Feb 19th

    Awaiting Shipment Feb 21st

Re released Feb 27th awaiting shipment ETA March 8th

No change and no information going into 5th week Awaiting Shipment.

Ramp 59 in Dearborn is a blackhole and Ford Customer

    service is non existent.

  4. Uh oh. My truck was built last week (I think). Sounds as if I am gonna be waiting a while to get it here in S. Carolina. Priority code is 10.

You might be alright as long as paint color isn't a problem now. The trucks that are not being shipped appear to have been built between Feb17th and Early March. Some trucks built mid March are already being driven around by their owners.

  5. I'm adding myself to this list.

    Ordered Jan28

    Built Feb 19

    Awaiting Shipment Feb 21st

Re released awaiting shipment Feb 27th

    ETA March 8th

I agree with Ed on this one. You don't have to give me any details just an updated ETA would be nice.

I've paid my dealer $1000 cash to order this truck and therefore I am invested in it already. I also am leasing a 2008 Lariat which the lease expired the end of February so now I've had to extend my lease for the 2nd month which is costing me more money I can't get back.

If Ford would give me an updated ETA or any information at all I could base my decision to extend the lease or return it to the dealer and rent a truck or buy it out depending on what the ETA is.

I need a truck for work and can't get a away without out one for more than a day which is my frustration when I feel like I'm losing money daily on this stupid deal. I'm not being an unreasonable customer at all. If I treated customers this way I would already be out of work.

  6. Well mine was built Feb 19th. Awaiting shipment Feb 21st. Re released Feb 27th awaiting shipment ever since.

    Good Luck!

Seems there is a bunch of trucks built between mid Feb and mid March that aren't being shipped for some unknown reason. Trucks that have been built after that are shipping and have already been received by some.

  7. Ditto Here!

    Ordered: 28 Jan 11

    Built: 19 Feb 11

Release from Factory awaiting shipment: Feb 21 11

Re released from Factory: 27 Feb 11

ETA: Week of 8 march 11

There are an awful lot of trucks just sitting there on ramp 59 by the sounds of it. If you read through the forums they are tons of people who have had the same status for weeks. The trucks are just sitting. I'm losing patience for sure. I keep extending the lease on the current truck which means I'm losing money by the day. Not impressed Ford! At least give us a real ETA. If you can't pinpoint the ETA within a couple of days in these times of up to the minute tracking then there is a serious problem with your customer service. :angry2:
