Sure thing -
I called 1-800-392-FORD
Push option 1 for english, then press option 4 for "New Vehicle Sales, Marketing and Owner Advantage Rewards Program", then option 1 for "Sales Brochures and Other Questions About Buying a New Vehicle".
I have *never* been put on hold - you will be speaking to a live operator.
They ask for this information (usually in this order):
Your full name
Your ZIP code
Your dealer code (You need your Vehicle Order Confirmation sheet for this)
Your order number (Also on the Order Confirmation)
Your Address
Your phone number
Your email address
Thanks,
I will be giving them a call tomorrow, and see what information they can give me. I placed my order for a King Ranch Ecoboost on January 3rd, and as of Feb 14th, the dealer still did not have a VIN# or a build date. I will let you know how I make out.
Greg
They won't give you as much information as the dealer could, but they will give you the current status, and can give you the VIN # (Ask for the VIN if you don't have it). The CS rep I talked to told me that dealers get a daily email and have access to a ton more email than they give the CS reps.
Their hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 PM M-F, closed on weekends

Called Ford customer service today for an order update, VIN number now assigned! yay! how much longer? Yes, I know that nobody knows.
VIN decoder shows it will be built at Dearborn
Can you respond back with the Ford Customer Service Phone Number that you called. Also what information did you have to give them so that they could look up your order status.
Thanks,
Greg

I am thinking about putting on some mud flaps when my truck gets delivered. I am not sure what type to get..................... the hard plastic or the rubber type. I live in minnesota so would the hard plastic type collect snow?
I have always had the Ford hard molded mud flaps on my ford trucks and cars. I live in the adirondacks of NY, and travel in snowy roads almost everyday during the winter months and have never had a issue with any of them. They also look great on the vehicles!!!

Hey guys, back again with a rendered image my Superduty concept...
Sorry for the quality, but MS Paint is all I really know. haha I tried to adapt the new Ford corporate sculpted side panel design similar to the Taurus/Explorer/Focus, that imo works very well when used on the Superduty. I tweaked the grill a bit from my original concept to incorporate some of the 2011 Explorer's features into it. Again, I think it transfers well to the Superduty.
At the back, I incorporated a set of "sunk in" Raptor like tail lights to match the front, and moved the "Super Duty" script to the top of the tailgate on a stainless steel strip that when you look gives the illusion that the side indention is connected through the tail lights, around the tailgate, and back onto the other side. :D
Great Job!!! I like it, it kind of reminds me a little of the 1980 style from the side. Keep up the good work, and you will have a bright future ahead of you.

Hmmm, I ordered mine on 1/4 and haven't gotten any info from my dealer every time I've contacted her. I'm going to see if I can also have them update the priority status. Thanks for the tip.
I ordered my F-150 KR w/EB Engine on 1/3/11, and still no factory confirmation or VIN number.

Mine showed up at the dealership last Friday. I pick it up after work today. I test drove it on Monday. I have to agree with some of the comments on here about the turbo lag, but when does kick in it goes. They found a small scratch on the bottom of the back corner. I also had the dealer put a few extras on it. Rides and handles like a dream. It purrs so quiet you can barely here the engine run. Very quiet inside the cab, very little road noise. Thanks to the great bunch at DTP for building me such a good truck.
Congratulations!!! When you get a chance pictures would be great...., also some more feed back on MPG and how you like the EcoBoost.
Thanks,
Greg

Tracking Request F-150 KR Ecoboost
in Vehicle Locator By Ford Employees

Cyberdman,
I Picked-up my F-150 King Ranch EB this past Saturday and I am enjoying every minute driving it. I just wanted to express my thanks to you for all your dedication and effort that you do on your spare time to track vehicles for people like me. You have made my wait tolerable, by knowing the vehicle status along the way. Attached are photos for you to see.
Thanks again,
Greg
