  1. Very nice! I got an update today and supposedly it is on a train now. Maybe I will have it by the end of the week (I am not holding my breath!)

Crazy seeing familiar stuff on a forum - I recognize the paint job on the OTR tractor in the background of your picture.

  2. So not only is your VIN # one number off from mine, you've got the same name - Eric haha

Anyway, I'm actually very happy with the mileage - the Ranger I traded in couldn't touch this. I'm just griping about the 26 gallon fuel tank - which I suppose I will live with :)

Post your whole VIN so we can all drool over your window sticker lol

Now that is getting strange! No news yet on mine...

  3. Still need updates?

    Sold - Sold Mar-28-2011.

One last question - does your system only say "sold" or does it have supplemental info pertaining to ship status? I called Ford's customer service number and they said the only thing they can share is that it is sold.

Thanks again. I would like to believe we are getting close.

  4. It is nice to hear you like your truck - I am still waiting so I must live vicariously through others!

Benna (wonderful dealer) called a higher up at Ford last Thursday and supposedly he got the ball rolling. I will get an update today and see what's up.

My parents also ordered and received a EB SCREW. They have been getting around 20mpg at 65 mph and towing their 7,000 RV trailer they get around 10 mpg. In comparison to their 5.4 SCREW, they couldn't be happier with the mileage. I guess everything is relative.

  5. No feedback???

    Hi,

I can't offer any direct feedback other than I bought a Bakflip F1 - I am still waiting on my truck to be delivered to install it.

However, some of the other F-150 websites (f150online.com, f150forum.com) have a wealth of information to share as well as knowledgeable dealers that will chime in.

    Good luck!

  6. Hi,

I ordered my Ecoboost Platinum with all of the bells and whistles on 12 February, it was built on 09 March and it is still sitting in Dearborn. Here is the kicker - an identical truck to mine (with the exception of the max tow package) showed up at my dealer today that was built on 24 March. I keep hearing Ford saying that the delay in shipping is because of union issues at the rail head in Dearborn - obviously this isn't the case.

However, it does lend some credence to what my dealer told me. He said it was on hold for shipping because of a wiring harness issue with the back doors. This makes some sense but how long does it take to replace the wiring harness?

I was excited this morning thinking that IT had arrived only to be bummed. Oh well, I know the wait will be worth it but it sure is frustrating.

    Eric
