  1. I explained it in my second post.

And the only thing temporary about working those years were the Ford acronyms. We were strung along with the possibility of full-time employment with nearly every new assignment. And even flat-out lied to about being "grandfathered" in after the '07 contract.

We were definitely taken advantage of.

  2. Nope, not impossible, and there are hundreds more in the same boat. Ford TFT, TPT, SuperTemp, LTS, etc.., laid us off & re-hired us, until finally in 2012 they made us Entry Level Employees. (after rolling back our wages a second time)

  3. Oh, I think you meant DTP? The same newsletter said they have 285 LTS's. 180 were recently converted to Entry Level, so maybe if they replace the 26, 1 for 1, there will be like 131 openings? Does that make sense? It's looking more and more like Flat Rock everyday...

  4. It won't allow me to attach the pic.

It's a letter saying the union has been unable to get the company to sit down and talk the details or steps that need to be taken. The # of ppl to be effected is 673. The union wants to reduce that number, the company hasn't responded.

  5. Remember, C-crew only costs half. The price of a Focus never dropped.

If orders spike, their bases are covered instead of paying A&B $45 & $60 in overtime. Also, the State of MI. is picking up the tab for the majority of the downtime(?).

I also believe there is new product heading to MAP, that will necessitate C-crew again.

Also, I think our small cars are federally mandated in some way against the amount of large trucks Ford builds.

Sorry my reply is all over the MAP. lol, I really don't know why they do anything except for $$$.

  6. 2 Tier here. I've been working and paying dues for 13 yrs now. I'm currently making about the same as I did when I started and had COLA. ($17.50) I had earned my way up to $26 twice, before the company laid me off & then rehired me.

There is nothing fair about having 8 yrs vested and earning a new hire salary.

  7. Multiple things, part shortage, we might get sent home Saturday too, Sunday might be cancelled, or we'll be sitting around all night. (waiting on parts from Poland) lol. Just lots of rumors. I'm prepared for 10.5
