It's typically 3 days.
You'll be briefed on your assignment, what they do/make at the plant, sometimes, the history of the plant.
You'll meet your various union reps. You'll watch videos on safety, equality, etc. (They are somewhat dated and very boring and long) Don't fall asleep!
You'll get your pic taken for your ID.
That's about it... Some paper work maybe.
