WOW, that is awesome. Thank you so much for giving me that information and providing this service. Just on Friday, the dealership had told me it would be 2-3 weeks so I am very happy to know that I will be getting it either today or tomorrow.

    Thanks again,

  2. Anyone wanna wager a bet that if a Ford wins today's race at Las Vegas there will be a rule change?

It happens everytime Ford shows any signs of dominance. Carl Edwards won the last two races last season, finished second in the Daytona 500 and had the pole last week at Phoenix. He probably had the fastest car on the track until being crashed by Kyle Busch while trying to move back to the front after a pit stop. The Wood Brothers with 20 year old rookie Trevor Bayne won the Daytona 500 and led a Ford 1-2-3 finish. They have the top four qualifying positions for today's race with Matt Kenseth setting a new track record in pole qualifying. The signs are not good... :happy feet:

I do find it interesting how NASCAR must "dumb" down the cars to the lowest denominator. I mean they already have so many rules as is, why do they need more? And isn't this supposed to be "Stock Car" racing anyways? I don't think you will find anything resembling these cars in your local dealerships. But ratings are up..so NASCAR execs must be happy even if Ford keeps getting good finishes.

  3. So my first car was an 88' Tbird and thus why I'm looking for one for a reasonable price. Doesn't have to be in mint condition or even totally working condition. Just in a condition that it could be restored to its greatness, lol. Must be the V8 model with a sunroof.

  4. The F150 is better in so many ways it is not even funny. Interior wise is the biggest difference. The F150's interior is as plush as any luxury sedan, IMO. My sister-in-law has a Denali, and from the pics I have seen of the new F150's interior, it is nicer than the Denali. The 4 new engine choices completely blow away the competition. The towing capacity of the properly equipped Ecoboost is amazing. The only one that comes close is the Tundra in this category. The Ram actually has a pretty decent interior, but the exterior is hideous, IMO. Plus, you are lucky to get 12mpg with the Hemi even on the highway.

I think the big difference to me between at least the F150's and the Silverados is that Ford offers more options in choosing the base packages. For example, I wanted a four door model with a standard bed. This is impossible to get for whatever reason in a 1500 Silverado. I guess they figure if you want 4drs and a 6 1/2 ' bed that you must need a 3/4 ton truck. Things like that made it easy for me to stick with the F150.

  5. Any idea if Ford plans to offer an E85 Ecoboost engine in 2012?

I'm really interested in this too or if any improvements are expected to improve MPG in the 2012 models. Anyone heard anything?

  6. Great purchase. I am a VT alum, class of 05, and am also awaiting delivery of an 11' f150 fx4 ecoboost screw fully loaded. This is my first post on these forums also so hello to everyone.

    Hi Guys,

I am currently in the process of becoming a new ford owner. My truck has been ordered and am expecting delivery sometime around mid-end of may. I purchased a 2011 f150 fx4 ecoboost screw and am very excited to get it! Therefore, I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself.

    Thanks!
