never heard of an hour between shifts rule. when LAP was on 5 days the line never stopped, day shift handed night shift the air gun & night shift did the next truck for YEARS. we are on 3 crew 4 day shifts now & there are times when there is only a half hour between, we have been in a perpetual launch mode for the last 5 years.

Was told today that comittee persons are telling everyone that the police dept got the printout wrong on the original charge, that it was really only his 1st dui & no aggravating circumstances. I hope thats the truth, I really ,really do..................

Yep & both of them should of been put out of office, this country deserves better & so does this membership. As far as the chairman......we didnt know he had 2 DUI's already, I did know that he was a partyer when he was younger & I personally asked him about that before the election. He told me with a straight face, oh those were the old days, Ive matured, dont do that anymore, church going family man now. So....even he admitted it was immature. The man needs help, his priority needs to be getting help for his problem, first of all for himself & his family, thats a long road that takes a lot of time & effort & doesnt leave much time for the heavy responsibilities of a building chairman. I honestly am praying that he gets the help he needs.

I respectfully disagree with you sir, just because you know some people who do alright with their liquor & havent killed anyone YET by drinking & driving doesnt make it alright. I certainly wouldnt want a nurse or a lawyer taking care of or defending me or my family that didnt have enough common sense not to drink & drive. I told my children growing up, just because your friend drove home drunk & nothing happened doesnt make it a good idea. Just like driving 100 mph down a busy interstate isnt a good idea. Just because someone did it, got away with it & no one was killed doesnt make it ok or good judgment at all.

Are you really that naive & trusting of our wonderful union? You really believe that they arent using that money as they please, really? Have you forgotten about all the meetings in Las Vegas & other places when we have a multi million dollar meeting place already called black lake? Who do you think paid for the elaborate hotel rooms, the entertainment & the booze? I know several people that have gone on those trips & come back bragging about it being one big party, when you ask them who paid for it....they shut up real fast. I know others who refuse to go back because they were shocked at the corruption & how our money is being spent.

Trust me luigi isnt the only one at LAP that has a problem with it. When you are elected that high of a position you should be responsible & trustworhty, 3 dui's is neither AND it was on the way to work, many very upset about it but seems to be getting swept under the rug.

Told by 2nd bargaining committee person today again that this was original plan but moving the MKC is now off the table, that it is staying at LAP. Possibilty later in the future if sales go up that another plant could build overflow but nothing more than that. Now.........I realize they tell you what you want to hear alot of the time, just throwing it out there . They sure have made a lot of costly changes to accomadate the Lincoln for us not to build it, again I know thats happened before, just have to wait & see.

Bargaining comittee jsut confirmed that this is an old rumor, was originally true but Lincoln version of Escape staying at LAP

Anyone else heard the rumor that Flat Rock is going to become "the" Lincoln plant. Rumor at LAP that we will lose our Lincoln version of the escape & anyone else building Lincolns will lose theirs as well.

Happy to have the job? ? Lol. All we have heard at LAP is how unhappy they are & how unfair they are treated. We have new hires right off the street driving forks on c crew & complaining about how hard their job is.

They need more money, here's a thought, have your meetings at Black Lake, that's what its for, instead of Vegas, Florida, Altantic City luxury resorts with expensive food & alcohol, should never ever have a meeting anywhere else & alcohol should not be allowed on the premises.......if its truly a worksite.
