Hey Fuzzy or Ice Capades (or anyone else who has access to Ford info),
So my car was completed on 8/9 and original EDD was tomorrow (8/22). Last week it got bumped up to 8/18 but then Friday night, 8/17, they removed the EDD completely. Its said "awaiting shipment" ever since 8/9.
My dealer can only see that its been released but not anything else. Same with the Ford chat folks.
Can you see if its been shipped or what the latest status is? Vin is 1FA6P8CF5K5114673, dealer code is F23093 - Hunt Ford in Franklin KY, order # 9999, priority code 19, kona blue GT premium.

So for the guys who have already gotten their cars (if they're still on here) - did it go to "radio silence" after COTUS showed that it had been completed production and the next thing to happen was for it to arrive? Mine was finished 08/09, right on time, then on the 11th the EDD date went from the 22nd to this saturday, the 18th. But it still says awaiting shipment. I'm in northern TN, a direct shot down I-65. I'm just wondering if anyone else status stayed "awaiting shipment" until it showed up. Thanx!

And BTW, I have been priority code 19 since the beginning, that has never changed. And it's still been on track the whole time

I'm going to be the guy that said cotus has been accurate since the beginning of my ordering process. Stopped by my dealer on Friday and he confirmed where we were in the process. Just got an update last night which is even better, should be delivered next Saturday if not sooner!

Not always. I've seen a lot of window stickers for vehicles that were actually shipped by rail. I knew because the vehicles landed at one of the rail ramps and then were transferred to car carriers for the final leg of the trip to the dealership. Your Dealer can tell you how other Mustangs are shipped to them, the rail carrier, etc. and can track your vehicle 24/7 via the Vehicle Visibility system.

What makes you think it's not going to be shipped by rail?
My window sticker says convoy, so I'm guessing that it'll be by truck only. Is that not correct? Thanx in advance!

Mine is scheduled to be built this week! Blend date 8/8. Window sticker also says it'll be shipped via convoy to my dealer in Franklin KY, 460 miles away from Flat Rock. So since it's not being shipped via train, do you guys think it'll arrive pretty quickly? EDD is 8/22 which I'm fine with, just curious what you guys think will happen. Thanx!!

Yeah man, the wait is killing me. I still have over 2 months to go till delivery but it will be all worth it at the end. I am hopping everything goes according to plan going forward without any issues.
My delivery date got bumped up a week to Aug 22! So its going even faster than I thought it would. 2 months!

Man, this wait is getting to me. Ordered on 4/10 and finally got a VIN number after 2 and a half months of waiting.
The only reason that's not so hard for me is that in 2014 I ordered a Pearl Masterworks drum kit. Hence, my name on here. It took 7 months from official order to delivery. It was worth the wait. So this one doesn't seem like anything

Thats good to hear about the color. I havnt seen orange fury in person. For while I was debating between orange fury and ruby red.
We have a 2013 Fusion in Ruby Red and its an amazing color. I even custom ordered a drumkit a few years ago based off RR
But my wife and I both were very impressed when we were able to see it in person. And, it was a cloudy day -

no, just the delivery date.

My dealer had a used 2018 orange fury that someone had traded in with only 4000 miles on it. Windows were tinted. It looked gorgeous. That color is a nice one!

There's a guy in my town that has a 2018 in your same package (although in Ruby Red) and he dropped by my office today to let me drive it. It sounded really good with the active exhaust & the 401a was very cool. It gave me something to look forward to!

I don't have any lights coming on, but I've got a 2013 Fusion SE and when putting it in reverse after it being on a few seconds, it will clunk into reverse. My 2011 did the same thing. 69k miles. If I wait 10-15 seconds, no clunk. Does anyone else have this happen?

I'll be able to ask for tracking info soon. My salesman was able to get the vin from the dealer owner but not the date. Based on other peoples order dates, mine will likely be blended around August 20

Mine was finished on 8/9 and still shows awaiting shipment as well. EDD disappeared over the weekend. But my dealer called me yesterday and said he got the pre-delivery email saying it should be here within the next 48 hours, most likely today. Cotus still shows awaiting shipment and no EDD. So don't worry about it too much, it may show up anytime. We are in Upper Tennessee, 460 miles south of Flat Rock and ours is being delivered via Convoy
