  1. Develop and offer a recreational towing prep package that would include:

     

    1. Factory installed Baseplate for tow bar hookup (such as Blue Ox brand products).

    2. Factory setup/wiring with 6 pin hookup box at front of vehicle for tail light/turn/brake operation from motorhome.

    3. Factory auxiliary proportional braking system with integrated emergency breakaway switch; may be air or electrically operated.

     

    I have been motor coaching for over 20 years and this is always a hassle and significant expense when setting up a new vehicle to tow. I currently have a 2021 F350 on order that is due to the dealer on 21 February 2021--one of the first things I'll be doing is starting the setup process once again. 

     

    It would be fantastic and I believe, a safer way to go, to have the vehicle setup properly by Ford at the factory.
