I took the subframe with engine out of a vehicle that was totaled and it was leaking pretty bad so i decided to reseal the engine involving timing cover, valve covers and oil pan. I replaced the pcv valve because of a puddle of oil behind the throttle body and it did seem like it did stick and before i removed the engine it ran great and smooth and i did a compression check on the front 3 cylinders and they all read about 225 psi. i just did spark plugs after the reseal and looked inside of the cylinders and some of them looked oily, could it be the pcv valve or is the engine bad, cylinder 4 through 6 had the 225 compression which i thought was great.
