Dang guys, back off just a little...ice-capades has a lot of valuable info and is just trying to make sure mis-information doesnt get spread around.

He can do that by providing accurate information and pointing out where people are wrong, rather than belittling (“topics that you know little about.”) other people trying to help.

It's not a soap box but it's important that information provided is accurate. Many times, a poster tries to answer a question or provides information based on their interpretation or understanding. There are times when subtle details in the priority codes, allocation and scheduling matters are omitted which make a difference in when or how an order will get scheduled. The process is complex with a lot of variables and unfortunately, many Dealers do not know how to use the tools available to them, can't be bothered or are too ignorant. There are a lot more factors in place this past year affecting vehicle scheduling and some of Ford's actions have actually made the process more involved and difficult. So, if I jump in to provide information it's to clarify information that may be otherwise misunderstood or misinterpreted. After 35 years managing Stock, Retail, Plan and Fleet orders I know the system and how to make it work better than the majority of Dealers. Enough said.

Jumping in to provide accurate information is great. Telling people to shut up because they don’t have 35 years of experience pretty much kills any attempt by other users to interact with the rest of the community,

No. Scheduled orders can be changed up until the time the vehicle is locked in for production. Changes to an order always change the scheduled production date. If the vehicle is locked in for production, any attempted changes will be rejected.

My F350 XLT with the UTT option is scheduled for the week of 9/27. My dealer is unable to make changes to it. He (the sales manager)  said they should be able to change it, so he has emailed Ford to find out why they cannot.

I ordered a XLT Tremor on 5/19 and initially had a build week or 7/26. I recently got pushed to the week of 9/27. I assume that is because of commodity issues. I’m grateful I have a VIN/anticipated build week. I feel bad for the guys that ordered before me and still don’t have VINs/build dates. Hopefully it all works out and we all have our trucks before the end of the year. I look forward to hopefully seeing some pictures in early September.

I’ve also got the 9/27 date. XLT with the 360° camera package. I’m wondering if it is an actual anticipated date, or just a holding date that will likely be pushed back, or hopefully moved forward.

When I ordered in April, I wasn’t expecting my truck until Christmas, but getting that initial build week of 7/19 raised my hopes before getting moved to 9/27.

I've read where others have reported their 2022 Super Duties are scheduled for 9/27.  That was disappointing since mine is still unscheduled.  Does the date in this schedule mean that they are misinformed, or is any date beyond the 8/16 indicated in this chart also a possibility?

I don't want to spend a long time studying the Order Guides.  For someone who has, how about and "executive summary" of changes on the F250 XLT and Lariat compared to the 2021.

    Summary:

XLT basically no changes except a black appearance package now available.

    Lariat new 12” screen.

If you have a VIN number, the vehicle is scheduled! It can't be scheduled without a VIN number and with the VIN number it can't show an "Unscheduled/Clean" status.

Of course, you were correct. I called Ford Marketing again this morning and they told me I was scheduled for the week of 7/19!

5 minutes after I got the VIN from Ford, I sent an email to my dealer(the sales manager),  and he sent me back this with the note about me getting the info before him. It must just be a delay in the various computer systems?AA7C0B22-626E-4910-AC66-345AE9E75635.thumb.png.6ae517ef59a7f7522b285fe3e27ae2cc.png

The production week is assigned at the same time the vehicle is scheduled and the VIN number assigned. Your Dealer can look it up in Vehicle Visibility.

I’m in a similar situation. I called Ford Marketing and they gave me a VIN but said it wasn’t scheduled yet. My dealer said he didn’t even have the VIN yet, that I was getting that info before him, and it still showed unscheduled. The screen shot he sent showed a status of “unscheduled clean”. I am now able look it up with the Ford Order Status page using the VIN and order number. I’m hopeful that the fact that I’ve got a VIN means I’m going to be scheduled soon!

Unrelated... I was also able to add the vehicle to FordPass.

I called the Ford Marketing number about 15 minutes ago. The I got through to a real person very quickly.

My order date was 07 April 21 and I got the order confirmation email that afternoon. My priority code is 14, there are 2 trucks ahead of me at my dealer. Todays call did not get me a VIN or a schedule date. The agent took my info and said I would get an email from his computers as soon as VIN and schedule were available. He suggested it could be as much as 20 days but hinted as if it would be much sooner but he is instructed to say "20 days"

You guys that are getting VINs let us know your order dates and codes. Give us all some hope and a clue.

    1. Be very nice and friendly to these people. They are there to help.

    2. I trust I will get an email from him. I will stay off the phone to allow others to get through. I will likely not call again.

I placed my order on 4/24. Priority 11. I got my VIN, but no build date.

Not sure how much it may matter for scheduling purposes, but my order is for an F350 CCLB 7.3.

call this # (800) 334-4375) and give them your order code and Sales code and personal info and they can provide for you

Thanks a lot! Scheduling is still in progress, but I did get a VIN. Also confirmed that my PCO for $2000 applies to 2022 even though it only says 19/20/21 in the mailer. I placed my order 4/24.

Just got VIN# and Build Date, 7/26  Code 11, looks like its the 2nd week, saw some other folks that Code 10 have a 7/19 build date even tho they ordered months after me

@ice-capades   is there a thread on how to decode your VIN# on here?

When did you place your order? Did you get an email from Ford, or your dealership?

I just tried looking up the Super Duty eligibility for the retail order incentive but unfortunately, the search function at the FMCDealer.com portal is like an effort in futility as it returns literally thousands of results and the available filtering is useless! I don't recall seeing the "selected vehicle lines" notice so I'd have to suggest you contact your Dealer for clarification on your question as the notice for the enhanced retail order incentive states that it is an enhancement to the current program.

Thanks for trying to look into it.

The “selected lines” was part of the red text that you posted. When I placed my order, the Super Duty was one of the “selected lines”, so hopefully I get the extra $500. I think I probably will.

I’m already pretty happy with my $2000 ECO and the $500 Order bonus, so anything on top of that would be a great surprise. I’ll wait to pester my dealer about it until later in July or August when I might have a VIN, since I’ve already got everything locked in.

Is this an attempt by Ford to make up for the long waits retail order customers are experiencing? Luckily, I knew when I placed my order it could arrive as early as August, or more realistically Sept/Oct/beyond, even though my dealer quoted 8-16 weeks.

Ford is completely revising its vehicle incentives program as of June 2, 2021 in order to reduce the number of incentives available and simplify the incentives available. Below is the notice related to the Retail Order Incentive Program.

    • Importantly, in support of your retail ordering opportunities in June, we will also enhance by $500 our current Retail Order Incentive Program, to $1,000 Open Bonus Cash for orders on selected lines placed by 7/6/21.  This enhancement will be retroactive to all retail orders placed since 4/1/21.

When I placed my 2022 F350 order in April, my dealer locked in the $500 Retail Order Incentive. I noticed sometime in the last couple of weeks, the Super Duty’s are no longer eligible for the incentive. I wonder if the Super Duty’s will be excluded from the additional $500 as part of the “on selected lines”.
