Curious if anyone is running something similar? I am looking forward to a hard style tonneau on the new truck for added security (currently soft roll up on the F150). My business will likely dictate a headache rack (pruning ladders), however I would love to also have the rigid tonneau as it is ideal for tool storage & also securing items when traveling with the RV. I have a chest style toolbox that will ride under cover against the cab & maintaining easy access is a priority. My impression is that a roll up style tonneaus may impede toolbox from full opening? Also planning full length step rails to aid in accessing said toolbox.
Appreciate any feedback ?
Look at magnumtruckracks.com I had the rack and bed rails on my F150 really liked how they looked worked great with my bak revolver tonneau.

I had just over 500 miles on my F350 with 7.3 before I hooked up to my 6700lbs travel trailer. Went through Colorado on 70 into Utah down through Arizona the back homevto kansas. I've had no problems with anything. If you think about it fleet customers hook these up to trailers day one and go to work.

I licensed my 22 F350 in December sales tax and all was $5291. Have to re-register it in March kansas goes off last name not anniversary of when bought vehicle. Will have to pay another $1254. $1202 is property tax $52 is registration fee

They tried to tell me they could make it ready for another $1800.... IDIOTS
Yea. The 5th wheel prep is everything needed to drop a 5th wheel hitch or the gooseneck ball in. The wiring is in the bed. It's amazing how the people at some of these dealers really don't know their products.

I have basically the same truck. But the 6.7 diesel. And they just skip over me or the dealership is lying about what is holding my order. They only say 5th wheel prep and bedliner...?
That's crazy. I can't believe you're not driving your truck by now. Yea yours has few more options but nothing that should have held it up this long. I mean I ordered 2 weeks after you and have been driving mine for 3.5 months now.

That's the options I'm told is holding my f350 lariat from getting scheduled. As I've said a few times on here I ordered May 21st. Still no sign of it getting close to getting scheduled. Priority 2 and non of that apparently means anything. I still fear I will be forced to reorder a 2023 and have to pay the price increases. At that point I might just drop my order and everyone that asks why I didn't buy a Ford. I'll just say "I tried" ?
I ordered a F350 cclb 7.3 lariat ultimate black appearance package 5th wheel prep fx4 upfitter switches cab lights. On June 9th picked it up Oct 1

Honestly I don't know what a special ordered truck miles should have on it when you pick it up. I heard 5 miles. But I would not quote that. 21.5 miles sounds high to me. Unless they are more then 5 miles from a fuel station.
Does anyone else have some insight on what the milage "should be" on pickup of a special order truck?
Or what the milage "was" on pickup for some that already got their trucks?
Mine had 7.5 on it.

I have this on my 22 F350 they go inside the tire. Looks like regular valve stem outside the tire. Have the choice to see pressure and temp on my dash.

Ordered a 2022 F250 SRW 7.3 Lariat Ultimate Black Appearance package with my local dealer the other day. I placed the order for Carbonized Gray, but I am seriously considering switching to Rapid Red. Any thoughts, I seem to see a lot of the CG out there but haven't seen a RR in person with the Black.
That's exactly what I did. Ordered a Carbonized Gray F250 Lariat ultimate black package changed to a F350 Rapid Red really happy with my choice.

When the window sticker on my order came available there was a date at the bottom, 12/21/2021. Now when I pull the sticker the date is 01/02/22.
Does that indicate the build date has been pushed out.
Order Number 1141
VIN 1FT7W2BN9NED40064Thanks,
Billy
That date is when the sticker was available. It changes every week or so. It has nowhere to do with the build date or any stage of the build of a vehicle.

Ordered new F350 Plat on 8/28, Got email confirmation same day from Ford. On 10/6 deleted vehicle vault safe and added A/S. Salesman said all changes went through without any problems. Finally got email on 11/16 that it was scheduled for week of 12/13 plus vin#. When I was able to pull window sticker up noticed changes were not made. Any ideas if the window sticker is correct? Sales person is confused why changes are not noted on window sticker, as am I. Truck still says it is in production and the build date on the window sticker has changed 3 times now. Probably will change again this week with the KTP shutdown. Wondering if anyone else experienced a similar problem.
There's no build date on window sticker.

The tracker shows my truck as shipped. My window sticker indicates it will travel via convoy. How do you guys track the convoy?
Most likely your truck will be shipped via train. It's very rare for vehicles to ship by truck from factory.

Mine was built on 9/14 sent for bedliner and maybe wheel liners and mudflaps if those are done offsite. Was shipped on the 16th.

I think I’m going to order this one as well. Have you had any issues with it? Thank you
None at all I like it gives an extra layer of protection for the bed. Very easy to open and doesn't take up much room when rolled up

I bought a BAK REVOLVER X4 TONNEAU COVER rolls back for the 5th wheel and doesn't block the rear window. Can barely see it out the rear window.
I got the X4s. The aluminum slats are matte black look good with the black appearance package.

Short story, I LOVE IT. Especially towing a 5th wheel.
I've discovered that if you're slowed by vehicles in front of you, turning on left signal, it will begin increasing speed. One issue it does have, IMO, system waits a little too long to react to vehicles slowing in front of you to begin reacting. Especially if it's still accelerating up to speed.
It does not like someone jumping in front of you going into panic collision mode.
Very satisfied with system controlling down grades up hill, it will show up to 4mph before it downshifts
My new F350 is the 1st vehicle I've had with this. I really like it to seems to be a relaxed driving experience.

I was a bit salty when I ordered my MY2022 in June and was told the 22's were not available with Lithium Grey. Now seeing all of the pictures of Carbonized Grey i can't wait to see mine when it gets here. Congrats to all who have received their trucks. They all look great!
Same man. I really liked that lithium grey. I ordered a carbonized grey. Then switched it to Rapid red.
