Your salesman should have looked you up in the system, not sure exactly what the dealers look at. My dealer put my info in earlier this year and seen 4 or 6 PCO’s for transit and commercial vehicles. I also received a 2500 PCO for super duty (same one you got) about a month ago and my salesman can also see it under my name online. Maybe Ice-Capades can help further on this topic.

So I went in and spoke to the owner, and was told that they were unable to see it in the system. She told me that she would take it up directly with Ford and that because it had a start date of 10/21, that Ford would be issuing me a refund check.

To all of you out there who are waiting for your rigs, I really do hope they come in sooner than later.

  2. Someone was recently asking about PCO's, and wouldn't you know it just 2 days after I took delivery of my truck, ford sends one to my house. The question i have about the PCO is in regards to the dealership's ability to acknowledge it seeing as it would've been processed prior to tuesday when i purchased the truck. When i was in finance, i asked the finance guy to check on a pco and he looked at me like i was retarded. Do any of you have experience with this? What do you recommend?

What can I do about a dealer who can't seem to get my truck from the rail yard to the dealership? Mine has been in transit since the 11th of October and sitting in a yard since the 25th. Northeast Alabama is where my dealer is and my truck is in Atlanta. He says mine is marked HOT and has been for 2 weeks. My order was placed 241 days ago.

E: I am working directly with the sales manager on this to boot. It's been the most frustrating experience ever. My house took less time to build than this truck.

Have the dealer go and pick it up if you dont mind a few hundred or so miles put on it, my dealership did it for a buddy of mine.

And the dealership called me today and said my unit has arrived.

350 cc lb srw, fx4, 6.7, spray on, console safe, deleted carpet, utt, lariat ultimate, 5th wheel prep. And other stuff.....

Ill be picking up tomorrow if all goes well.

Ok, I know I’m not the only one but I’m so freaking tired of seeing people who ordered two/three months after me getting their trucks, and don’t get me wrong, I don’t don’t blame them. I BLAME FORD MOTOR COMPANY!!!!  WTF Ford?!?!?! For crying out loud get it together!  I swear to god at this point I’m convinced I’m being punished because I chose the carpet delete. I swear I’ll pay the $50 if it’ll get me scheduled!!!!  Confirmed 7/27. And for those even farther behind than me, I know, you’ve got even more right to be pi$$ed!  Btw, not scheduled yet!

I went with the delete as well.

Im built, just waiting for delivery.  What other options did you opt for?

The Vehicle Visibility report is the best source for the latest status information. The rail car number information is included in the Vehicle Visibility report but if the vehicle has arrived at the final rail ramp destination, the next step is for it to be transferred to the car carrier firm before it can be dispatched and loaded onto a carrier for delivery to the dealership. Delivery times from the ramp to the dealerships is dependent on a number of factors including carrier and driver availability, along with whether enough vehicles are available to fill a load headed to the dealership's general location. Retail order vehicles are identified with green Window Stickers and are automatically "hot listed" for expedited delivery subject to the conditions noted. Once the vehicle is dispatched by the car carrier firm, it's usually loaded and delivered within 24 hours.

The truck is coming to northern ca.

  6. So I spoke with the dealership to try and locate the truck I ordered, and was told that it hit the rail yard in either Illinois or Indiana (i cant remember) and has been sitting there since 10-28 with no updates.

Truck shipped 10-27 is there another way to see other than the visibility report?

I was unable to get the rail car info.

  7. Ive seen some dealerships placing a $5k ADM on "customer cancelled" custom orders. And used trucks going for upwards of 10k over new MSRP.

My question is: with this shortage, has anyone been getting invoice pricing, or anything below MSRP? Would you purchase the extended 8yr/125k warranty and service contract up front or wait for a "Ford" offer?

My order is scheduled 10/18 build, and knowing that the truck is coming home with me, have any of you been able to negotiate those prices at all?

    Thanks for the info.

How is it possible that people who placed orders in August for the same truck as people who placed orders in July and June are scheduled already? I must have missed something. I ordered July 20 and I was told I just have to wait. If these commodity reports that Ice Capades posts are correct, I’m not getting scheduled yet again. Didn’t the orders start being taken in June? Seems like Ford is not communicating anything to anyone.

What were your options, and what has your dealership or customer service told you?
