Hopefully I read all your conditions properly. Thanks a ton for doing this! I was able to see that something changed a few hours ago, but I don't know what it is. I've heard rumors about new chip holds, so I'm hoping it's not that. I appreciate any information you can pass along.
Have a great vacation!

Priority codes are exclusive to each dealership's USOB (Unscheduled Order Bank) regardless of the order type and are independent from any other dealership's orders. I've posted about this countless times over the years.
Now this is interesting. Thanks for that.
So each dealer has a different order bank then. Does that mean I should have chosen a dealer with a larger order bank? I ordered a Mustang the same day from the same dealer, and it's sitting in my driveway right now.

You can't change the Body Code from an F-250 to an F-350. It requires a new order.
That's strange. My dealer said that the option to make the change was on his screen, but he was afraid to select it due to the priority code.
It's also an identical build for the Tremor with the high-cap tow package. The only difference is the sticker and the vent badge. Every other component is identical. You get the extra leaf spring with the high capacity package, and you get the upgraded rear-end with the Tremor package. It wouldn't be a major change.
Either way, I didn't do it. It would cost almost $965 more, and it risked my priority code at the same time.

Priority 2 only bumps you up in line at that specific dealer, not Ford overall. So, in theory it would help you get selected quicker, but many have been 2 for months and no change.
You are the only person I have EVER seen claim this.
Granted, I've only been reading forums since early September, but every indication I've seen is that code 02 means the vehicle has been vetted, and it can be scheduled immediately. 10+ can be used to adjust scheduling within the dealership.

I think that would require you having a whole new order. And if your not towing much. (You got the tremor) you might not need the extra payload.
No. The dealer has the option to change it. He just didn't want to because of my priority code.
I was thinking about using a camper and boat at the same time, so I thought the extra 600 lbs on the sticker would help. There is ample evidence that the only difference between the 250 and 350 Tremors with high-cap tow package are the sticker, badge, and price. The tow package gives you the extra leaf spring, and the Tremor give you the 350 rear end. Everything else is the same: springs, frame, crossmembers.

It’s very frustrating watching others jump to the head of the line for no apparent reason.
I called my dealer earlier this week to change from a 250 to a 350 (Tremor so it's really just a sticker and a badge). They called me back, and told me they were afraid to make the change because Ford moved me up to Priority Code 2 for some reason.
None of us know why.

This was mentioned a while ago. Some of their inventory systems automatically post incoming trucks on their website.
What inventory system automatically posts trucks for 125% of the MSRP?

Has anyone put mud flaps on a SD Tremor that's used off road?
I'm still waiting on my Tremor, and I've been wondering how difficult it is to remove them when I go off-road. They are quite cheap if they get damaged though.

my dealer even put my truck up on their website to sell it
Are you saying that this dealer is selling your truck instead of giving it to you? I've heard of this happening quite a bit recently.

Some differences in towing but more differences in cargo.
I forgot to mention that I ordered the Tremor package with a Diesel engine.
The tables are extremely confusing when you add that little feature.

I’m torn between the F250 with the high capacity tow package and the F-350.
I don’t see any capacity differences, but I feel like the F-350 would offer better resell value, but it costs about $940 more.
I don’t really understand what the difference is, and I was hoping somebody could explain it to me.
thanks.
Edit: After a ton of research, I've discovered that the Tremor diesel 250 and 350 are EXACTLY the same except for the badge, sticker, and price ($965 more for me). Now I'm trying to decide if the sticker is worth $965 for me.

On this forum, at this thread, scroll to the bottom of the last page of the thread, the most current info is there:
I have no idea how I missed that.
It looks like they’re only doing cleanup scheduling this week. Probably due to the holidays.

Ugh …. No super duty scheduling this coming week.
Where are you seeing that? I don’t see anything that said SD scheduling was cancelled.

First post here, but I've been lurking around since I ordered a F250 platinum 6.7 with A/S on 7/19. Finally got a production date of 11/29 today. I was going to drop A/S several times but talked myself out of it. Hopefully the production date sticks!
I saw a couple trucks get scheduled with AS this week.
I really want that feature, but I pulled it off a few weeks ago. I would add it back on if I knew it wouldn't delay my order.
I wish Ford was a little more forthcoming about the commodity shortages so we could make educated choices. Ice-Capades gives us a lot of information, but it's only specific about commodity shortages some of the time, and we generally have to guess what might be holding up our orders.

Ten minutes after my last post I got the E-mail its scheduled for the week of 11-29 YEA
Congratulations.
What options did you have? I ordered mine two weeks before you (9/4 vs 10/15), and it's still crickets for me.
A lot of people have it much worse, but I feel like I might be joining their ranks if I don't hear something soon?

I believe so. This is why I dropped it from my order.
I dropped it from my order as well. Kind of a bummer. I really wanted that option.

What is your dealer saying? Do you have commodities on hold? I hope you get your truck soon.
I ordered a Mustang and an F-250 Tremor on 9/4. The Mustang is getting built next week. I still don’t have a vin for the truck.

I’m in Missouri. I ordered on 9/4. Still haven’t heard anything. A lot of people have been waiting much longer than that though.

What spreadsheet? ford-trucks.com has a spreadsheet
Yes. That spreadsheet. (Scheduled - New Options). I counted the number of trucks scheduled each Thursday.
By the way, I missed two for 10/14 that were listed in the Scheduled Date section:
Thursdays # Scheduled on spreadsheet 9/16 18 9/23 1 9/30 14 10/7 1 10/14 12 10/21 2 10/28 11 minutes ago, ScottK1 said:I think you are putting too much emphasis on one website providing you data
At the moment, I'm just pointing out something that looks like a pattern. It's too small a sample to draw any firm conclusions. That's why I said "it seems like." If don't have access to the spreadsheet's history so I can't look back further.
I'm interested in seeing what happens in the next few weeks. If this trend continues 2-3 more weeks, I think it will be statistically significant.

I think we're going to stick with the "your dealer/salesman is full of crap" theory.
One can hope. The fact that only two trucks showed up on the spreadsheet today is a concern though.
Another concern: According to Ice-capade’s scheduling document from Tuesday, SDs were supposed to be scheduled for 11/15, but they were scheduled for 11/22.
I have only heard rcpd34 say anything about this though, so I’m hoping he just has a lying car salesman. Wouldn’t be the first.EDIT: I looked back over the spreadsheet for a few weeks. It seems like they schedule a lot of SDs every OTHER week:
9/16 18 9/23 1 9/30 14 10/7 1 10/14 10 10/21 2 -

I saw one person, and possibly only one, report on FTE that they had received a new build notification today. Also, there's one user on FTE's tracking spreadsheet that reported getting a new notification today. May or not be the same person.
There are two now. One is a Tremor, and on is a well-equipped KR. The KR was ordered 10/6. The Tremor was ordered 9/9. Both are scheduled for 11/22.

Welcome back.
Not sure I need a status, but here is the information:
F-250 Lariat Tremor 6.7
VIN: 1FT8W2BT4NED32845
Order Code: 2236
Sales Code: F53476
My dealer was able to look up the train number on his VVR. It looks like it's coming in on this train car (I found the image on a reddit page about graffiti). I thought you might find this interesting.
When I checked the train status, it shows that it's empty, but not where it is.
Thanks for everything!
