I’ve been leaning toward something like this. Except clamp the rear wheel and let the front hang loose.

Take the front tire off. I used to cart my bike around in a Taurus with trunk closed. Easily put 2 bikes in back of Escape with tailgate closed. Quick release hubs make it easy.
I have a cannondale MTB with a lefty fork, so the quick release is not an option.
-
And I’ve driven into way too many garage tops/ drive thru’s / awnings to ever have one mounted above the bed.
-
Yeah, I’m aware of those, but have never been comfortable with half the bike hanging out of the truck.
-
A size large 29” mountain bike is literally a half inch too long to fit in the bed.
-
Yeah, just thinking of all the motorcycles, bicycles and atvs that would fit (with tailgate shut) if it was about 3” longer.

Have there been any interior volume specs released yet? Specifically hip and shoulder widths? I know they have stated that the frame and track will be 2" wider than the current truck but does that also translate into more interior room?
Since they have also said that the wheelbase was stretched 2" by moving the front wheels forward does that have any effect on cab length? I read somewhere that the overall length did not increase so unless the front of the cab got moved forward as well (fenders and hood shortened) you would not expect any change to the cab length. However, I also read or heard in a video that there was more rear seat leg room. Any real confirmation of that?
Did the bed length increase any? Super cab specifically

Weathertech shows the same part number for the driver/passenger front row for both the Scab & Screw models, so I would assume that the floor mat area is the same.

I notice for weather tech, some mail order sites offer a choice between SCABs or SCREWs, while others just offer the SCREW option.

Exactly why I was asking.

Is the ford 10 speed the same between vehicle models, say the f150 and the bronco?

Article kinda leads you into believing you’ll be able to upgrade your sync 3. But nope

How about the floor mat area? Is it larger also in the super cab?

Is Sabre the burnt orange?

Anyone actually received the $1000 “truck month” rebate?

I have a question concerning current Plant shut downs. When a Assembly Plant closes for a week, does that mean that all previously scheduled orders are pushed out a week? Say a build that was scheduled for the week of Feb 14th would now be moved out one week to the week of Feb 21st?
-
I’m in this same boat. Ordered mine late Oct, then discovered I was eligible for X Plan through Mustang Club a month later. Got the PIN from MCA and sent it to my sales rep, who replied that yeah, it should be useable as long as it doesn’t kick back out because of the expire date. I assume he means the truck showing up at the dealer before my 90 day wait period at MCA is past.

That’s exactly why they enacted COVP - to keep the larger dealers from hogging allocation and allowing smaller dealer special orders to get built faster. As for “hold up items” they’re only publishing the big ones. On any given week any part might get shorted. Zaxbys ran out of boneless wings one day. Shit happens. A lot these days. All it takes is one missing truck driver.
Maybe Ford is favoring higher trims when parts are limited, maybe not. Either way the delay is because of a parts shortage. And there is no way that two trucks you randomly see on the internet are EXACTLY the same given all the different parts, options and color combinations.
It doesn’t mean there is a conspiracy just because you’re frustrated.
Any idea when Zaxby's will be producing boneless wings again?
Would I be more likely to have my order filled if I removed "teriyaki" sauce and substituted "BBQ" instead?
