I don’t know why it’s so small, weird copy and paste I guess, thanks for the update!

Regarding the X plan order. I got an order listing MSRP for the truck and options and it had listed the A/Z plan price, D plan price, and the X plan price. The sales rep said he didn't need my x plan information until I pickup the truck. The plan I am a part of is a very large buyer of vehicles (thousands per year) so I can assume that the dealer won't want to lose them as a customer, but you ask a good question. I think the dealer would be in some legal trouble if they took the order, gave me a price and didn't honor the plan at delivery.
Back to more site browsing. Thanks for the reply. When I bought a Chevy Suburban years ago under their form of X-plan, it was 8 weeks from order to delivery but then it probably only had two computers in it not the dozens the new vehicles have.
Out if curiosity how much does x-plan knock off, is it a percentage or how do they calculate it and is it the same across all dealers?

Mine is from July with KG West Valley. It shows in production but who knows when it will really show up. The whole process is tough, seems like it would be nice to have Ford control it from end to end.

The key is that you said I AM trying to help you. Try asking more coherent questions initially in the future. How about go to the Ford website and do a Build and Price. That should show the MSRP. Or edmunds.com, or any other number of online sources.
I won't help you any further, don't worry.
My bad on asking an incoherent question. All I wanted was a place to look up previous pricing, but I also wasn’t clear on what I needed to figure out when I asked the question. And you didn’t help at all so I’m not worried -

If you are asking what the MSRP was on the 2 items that you said were dropped, that seems easy to find out. Either ask the dealer or look up those items online and see what they are priced at.
You just said either ask the dealer or look up those items online for the “what the MSRP was”. That was my question, is there a place to find that online. The dealer is a pain in the a$$ to talk to. If it’s available somewhere online that would be nice. I don’t know why people respond to questions with completely irrelevant and unhelpful answers. Please stop helping me on my question.

None of us can know if your dealer is going to try to screw you on some bogus price increase.
Forget about the dealer, I’m just trying to figure out where online you would find the prices of those items over time. It was changes and dropped items. Obviously I can look up current prices on the ford web site. They don’t advertise the previous prices or when they changed and how frequently.

You bought a truck and have no idea what price you were going to pay? Seriously?I’m asking how to figure the difference between what RETAIL was and is, I’m not even talking about the deal I have with my dealer. The dealer quotes me the retail and then whatever the discount is relative to that, if the retail went up when they dropped options how am I supposed to know. The discount with the dealer should be higher if they are quoting a higher retail.

it’s awesome you all do this thanks!

I had a couple of Tundras with drop in bed liners and they were ok. I’d rather have the spray in. The drop in are way too slippery and can also get crushed in spots. I also had to drop mine from the order and so may just not bother with it for awhile. I can always add it later.

It's unlikely as Super Duty orders have been getting locked in very early due to the retail order volume. You'd need to talk to your Dealer about your order status.
They said they couldn’t modify it or it would get knocked out of schedule. Oh well, I’ll have to deal with the sport appearance.

My F250 still shows "In Production" one week later, but I now have Module Build Data showing. Another step forward!
Ah nuts, I hope it doesn’t sit on in production for a week. It likely will though, so is it a week of in production and then it gets built? Each one is likely different, just trying to get a general clue.

I’m interested in the power on board to run my truck camper ac and charge it’s battery system. It would be amazing not to have to carry a generator along.

Why are you asking us? That’s between you and your dealer. Your order is price protected by Ford but your price is whatever you agreed to pay with your dealer. The question was how do I know what the retail pricing was so I know what to ask my dealer. My dealer could claim they didn’t raise it but how do I verify old pricing with new.

I heard some speculation I think on a TFL video that the could have a hybrid version SD with the power on board option. I think the power on board would be really nice, but I haven’t had a truck with it. I wonder what the feedback is from people who have F-150’s with the feature.

I’ve had an order in since last July for a Lariat SD and I finally had to drop the fifth wheel prep and BAP a couple of months ago in order to get scheduled. It’s a bummer since I wanted both, but I want the truck more. See if you can drop some things to get it moving. I traded my truck in last year so it’s been a painful wait not having a truck.

I’ll be hauling a truck camper as well as towing a travel trailer from time to time. Has anyone used Timbrens compared to airbags? I’m wondering if one is better than the other. The Timbren’s are far cheaper than the air bags.

With the small bump in the prime rate from the fed is anyone seeing higher interest rates on auto loans? It seems like the HD trucks they assign higher rates to anyway. I’ll be putting a large down payment since I sold my lemon F-350 last year and also got a settlement check from Ford on it. The bummer is I’ve been without a truck since last year when I ordered the ‘22.

SYNC 4
in Rumor Mill
Does anyone have experience with wireless Apple Car play? I’ve been using Sync 3 and it frequently doesn’t work requiring me to perform a reset on the radio by holding the power and fast forward button for a few seconds. Usually I have to reboot sometimes several times just to get carplay working on a wired connection. I’m hoping Sync 4 they’ve fixed these problems.

I don’t know if this would involve cutting dealers out of the process, but something has to be done about the ordering process. I suppose orders can’t be fulfilled in exactly the order they are placed. Maybe they could be among the trim levels. For example if ordered a Lariat it would be placed in a Lariat queue and the upper and lower trim levels may be in their own queues. The big problem seems to be the way allocations are handled with the dealers.

Yeah they are going to replace it. They said the transport company did it.
