    10/02/21 - Order Placed, Priority 19

01/07/22 - Dealership advised order was now Priority 02

02/03/22- Advised by Ford Marketing a VIN and build date were assigned

My order: 2022 F350 Lariat 6.7, Tremor, BAP, Lariat Value Package, 5th Wheel Prep Package, Moonroof, Supplemental Cab Heater, Block Heater, Clearance Lights, Rain Sensing Wipers, Upfitter Switches, Tailgate Step, Heated Rear Seat

Truck was originally scheduled to be built the week of 03/14/22, but it has since been pushed back to the week of 04/18/22.

  2. I use Rock Tamers on my hitch for my travel trailer.  They work great, although I do admit they don't look great.  I did make one visual modification to mine, I rattle canned the Rock Tamers metal insert on the flap itself black.  I figured with a black truck, with the black appearance package, that I couldn't not black out my mud flaps as well lol.

  4. My ordered 2022 F350 Lariat Tremor 6.7 is going to replace my 2021 F250 Lariat Tremor 7.3.  I only had the 7.3 for 6 months, and I enjoyed the truck and was happy with it.  My only real complaint was the fuel mileage with the 7.3 and the 4.30 rear end.  I didn't expect miracles with that combination as it isn't exactly a set up to achieve the highest economy, but one of the main uses of my truck is towing my travel trailer and after doing one long trip (2,400+ miles round trip) towing the trailer, actually living with that fuel economy was less than ideal.  If I didn't regularly tow long distances with my truck I would've stayed with the 7.3.  But I stumbled across a decent offer to order a new super duty, and the dealership offered me slightly more than what I paid for the truck new, even with 12,000 miles on it so I pulled the trigger.

Ordered 10/02, F-350 Lariat Tremor, 6.7, Agate Black, Black Appearance Package, Lariat Value Package, Rapid Heat Supplemental Heater, Engine Block Heater, Twin Panel Moonroof, 5th Wheel Prep Package, Roof Clearance Lights, Rain-Sensing Windshield Wipers, Upfitter Switches, Tailgate Step, Heated Rear Seat.  Dealership was able to get my priority bumped to 02 on 01/07.  Still no VIN and no scheduled build date.

It appears that I was one of the lucky ones on Tuesday, I didn't check until today but I found out I have a VIN and a scheduled build date.

Had a question for anyone that can provide insight. After reading though some of the post on guys who have been waiting some time I have seen some posts talking about people getting an email from ford saying their order has been received within a week or so. Is this customary?  Dealership asked for my email and said it would be for ford to communicate with me through. Just don’t want to be waiting for some time only to find out dealership has not submitted the order correctly and that is why I have not received an email. They printed out the MSRP sheet for me with the invoice price and the x-plan price and I signed it and kept a copy of it after reviewing all the options. Then later I was emailed the same sheet with an updated priority code of 10 and an order number in it. Just want to be proactive so I don’t get taken advantage of.

    Thanks!!

I'm currently awaiting the 3rd truck I've ordered through 3 different dealers, and I've never gotten the email updates like you are supposed to.  Apparently if your dealer inputs the information correctly you will receive email updates on your vehicle as it progresses through the system, and I never got them for my 2015, 2021, or my 2022.  It sounds you are on top of things, getting them to put the price in writing, and I am assuming that the order sheets have all of the correct options on them so there really isn't much more you can do on your end that I am aware of/can think of.  Unfortunately the amount of time you can end up waiting on these trucks gives too much time to worry about what can go wrong until it shows up.

  7. I've been on the Super Duty Tremor forum for a while, and figured I'd jump on here as well.  I've always been a Ford guy, although I was into euro cars for a bit in HS/College.  I've owned 3 F-150's, a 1992, 2011, and 2015, and last year I purchased a 2021 F-250 Lariat Tremor 7.3, and I ended up trading in that truck and ordering a 2022 F-350 Lariat Tremor 6.7 a few months ago.  My profession seems to favor Ford vehicles and I've always been issued Crown Vics and Interceptor Utilities.  I'm looking forward to learning from everyone on here, and hopefully I can provide something worthwhile for others to use.
