  1. Many thanks to this forum, moderators and participants .  Picked up my F250 on Tuesday from a large dealership in Idaho, I live in Montana.  Dealership honored the price agreement on my signed order sheet without question which included  PCO ($2K), Dealer discount ($500) and Price protection (PL245) from my 12-15-2021 order.

Did not purchase extended warranty and mentioned "Flood Ford".  Dealership lowest offer for extended warranty was still $2,200 more than Flood Ford for a Premium plan, 7.3 gas engine, 7 year 100,000 miles option.

  2. Ordertrack.app shows the same for me but just received telephone call from dealership my truck is arriving on Monday.  Truck has already arrived by rail in Salt lake City and will then be transported by car-hauler to Idaho, Sunday night or early Monday AM.  Ford Vehicle Order Tracker just updated to "Final Preparation".

If timeline holds true this delivery will be 2 days earlier than Ford projected.  Order placed 12-10-2021.

  3.

I think my situation is similar to yours and both are mostly typical to what is occurring when ordering new vehicles (Ford or other manufacturers).

I placed an order last December and never received any communication from Ford for 6 months (June 23).  I corresponded with my salesman every 2 months and was able to confirm my order by calling Ford Marketing at 1-800-392-3673.  They asked for my "Order Code" number and I think the "Sales Code" number (this information is on the paperwork received when placing the order).

As was previously stated, your salesman can also confirm your order status and information through the Vehicle Visibility Report (VVR).  Hang in there your order has probably been submitted a long with your contact info.

Mine was built 6/15.  Called Ford this morning and they said it is still in Kentucky waiting to ship.

    2504now,

Ford Vehicle Order Track indicates my truck was built 7-23-22 and also indicates "Shipped" but with no date (above the bubble).  Since there's no date on Ford's website or "Blend" date on ordertrack.app,  I'm assuming my truck is waiting to be shipped like yours.  I did receive an email from Ford (with the build date notification) with a delivery window of 8-17-22 to 8-23-22.

Did you ever receive a delivery window from Ford and does/has it ever updated with later projected delivery dates?

  5. Received both a "Built" and "Shipped" emails this morning with an estimated arrival to dealer August 23-27.

Ordered the truck (via phone & emails) with an out of state dealership December 10, 2021 and placed a $1K deposit.

  6. TJM73,

Yes, brief conversation regarding out of state registration fees at the time the truck was ordered.  Salesman stated at least 1/3 of their sales are with customers from out of state.  The listed $100 registration seemed very low for Montana and as an adjoining state to the dealership (as Ice-capades indicated); I'm sure there is an established procedure.  The listed fee could be the dealerships estimated cost for FedEx.

My preference and purpose in asking this question here is to learn most answers before asking a salesman or dealership employee and definitely prior to making a purchase.  Thanks for the info and opportunity (here) to be an informed consumer. ??

  7. Window Sticker (WS) became available today for build date on Monday, July 25.  No changes made to original order and WS correctly reflects build sheet.

F-250 CC SRW 7.3 Carbonized Grey, Lariat, Lariat Ultimate, BAP, 3.55, Upfitter, Rain-sensing (heated steering wheel), FX4

Ordered 12-15-21 (No Email confirmation from Ford)

Build email 6-23-22 (First Email from Ford)

    Stated build date 7-25-22

Ordered through a larger dealer out of state, assuming vehicle would be built a little quicker.  Don't know if my plan will have worked  but haven't minded (too much) waiting for a vehicle that I'd like vs. settling for what's available on dealer lots.  Knowing the signed build sheet is "price protected" (PL245) and WS MSRP reflects pricing at time of build has been very helpful "intel".  Thanks to the forum and participants!!

Since this is my first purchase as an out of state buyer (I don't have a sales tax in my state), what can I expect in the way of registration fees?  I know I there won't be a sales tax for the purchase, but do other states charge a temporary registration fee at the time of purchase?

Would appreciate any information on how "out of state" vehicle registration is handled.  My paperwork for the order indicates $100 and the dealership is in Idaho.

    Thanks for the help.

  8. Received my FIRST email correspondence from Ford this morning stating F250 Lariat CC SRW has been scheduled for week of July 25, 2022.

Ordered 12-09-2021 and confirmed with Ford Marketing 2/2022.

Carbonized Grey, Lariat Ultimate, 7.3, FX4, BAP, 3.55, Upfitter, Universal Garage & Rain-sensing wipers

I never made any changes to the order even with the 'ebb & flow' of commodity constraints.  "Track My Order" option, using the provided VIN, shows the additional Tremor option.

Up-sale shannanigons, data entry error or just wait until the Window Sticker is available for comparison to my signed Preview Order?

  9. Good question "Jams" and thanks for providing the marketing telephone number "22Tremor22" .

I called, someone actually picked up the phone, could understand them and they were helpful ?!!  Using the Order # and Sales code #, I was able to confirm Ford has received my order.  Good Monday ?

  10. Same with me, never contacted by Ford.  Ordered a 250 CC, 4WD, Lariat with BAP last December and received a Priority Code 19 at that time.  Salesman stated I would receive additional information in the (snail) mail from Ford, including discounts because of where "I live".  Mid February emailed salesman notifying him still no correspondence from Ford but new paperwork showed Priority Code 10.

Yesterday, per information from another post (Cyberman?), I emailed salesman again asking him to make sure my email address has been included with the Web Based Dealer Ordering (WBDO) system and he has submitted my buyers order and drivers license in the Customer Order Verification Program (COVP) for "... incremental allocation and priority scheduling."  Salesman has been good about returning emails so will see.  Hopefully haven't waisted last 3 months waiting but have other purchase plans/options if this one falls through.
