Thread bump for any info on the shipping status
-
On my 2010 F250, I had fender flares on it, never really thought about them at all, but as my truck has shipped, I started noticing a number of trucks without them and rusting on the metal over the wheels.
Got me to thinking about getting them added on once I get my truck.
Is this a good idea? And if so, are there recommended ones as well as ones to avoid?
TIA

VIN: 1FT8W3BT9NEE38813
Order Number: A129
The tracking website from the email stopped working (Accept and Track just reloads the page).
Any updates on this beyond the email telling me it went "In Production on 4/12"?
Thanks in advance

When paying in cash, bring in a few mason jars full of loose change. Ask if they will help bring in the rest. See if they will actually help before you pull out the cashiers check.

I have a scheduled build date for the week of 4/25. When can I expect my window sticker to show up on the tracking website?
Build week of 4/18, got window sticker on 4/12. Would guess next week for you.

*sigh*
Just went "In Production" with 4/12 on the window sticker.
So close, yet so far away.

I rolled my 2010 F250 back in January (ice patch, 4x4 H but no traction control or ABS). Stuck the landing on all 4. All I got was 2 small glass cuts on my hands despite landing on the corner of the roof just over my head. Absolute tank of a truck. Got my order in 3 days later for a F350, its in production now.

I get it that CONVOY is probably delivered by semi on a carrier
And RAIL means its getting close to the dealer by train
But which is better to get?
Is there an average time by each?

Is there a guide to priority level attached to an order.
I have seen some scattered info here about 19, 10, 2, and 1: Do those actually correlate to some table or real status about the order?

Keeping the truck clean and really flushing out the frame, wheel wells, inner fenders, and bumpers goes a long way to preventing and slowing down rust.

So i got a quote from the local Line-X place for the bedliner, and they said they do undercoating and rustproofing as well ( for additional $$$).
I live in Minnesota, salt is way of life on the roads, and I was wondering if those are really worth it for a F-350.

Ordered in on Jan 27, 2022, and got the email with the VIN and production scheduled (for week of 4/18) this morning.
F-350 Lariat Diesel. None of the usual suspects for long lead time. Here's hoping for delivery by June. WoOt!

$4.99 on the north side of the Twin Cities. Been holding there for a week. Jumped harshly on the invasion but has stabilized.

My old F-250 had a drop-in hard plastic bed liner and it was very durable. Going back farther to my really old F-250 Ranger (yeah, 1980... when Ranger was a trim level) was a naked bed because spray in liners were junk, peeled, rusted under etc. back then.
Have the spray in liners really surpassed the drop-in liners? My F-350 order was without a liner, so I'm looking at after market, but I want to get a good idea of the best way to go.

Cash.
The dealer tried to push financing on the order, but we declined... three times.

Ordered 1-27-22, took delivery 5-5-22.
Smashed the 5-6 month estimate tho the salesman said he is telling people 12 months now, and that Antimatter Blue is not being offered on the 23's.
